As I said, attractive style and results aren't exclusive to each other and we've seen ugly football fail as well. Just look at Mourinho - utd spent so much money on players and all he does is play ugly football and alienate players.

Interesting to see how Gazidis will run the club. Sponsorship deals will be key in addition to good governance so that the club will be able to increase steadily in value and not leak money every year. I am sure Ely's 8m signing on fee a year after he was released for free is just the tip of the iceberg. I don’t think the agreement has anything to do with Gazidis decision. He will be here to boost our revenue through commercial, sponsors and maybe a stadium. UEFA agreement will help us in the market and help us maintain the squad and not going to sell in order to achieve financial milestones.
