sometimes
trolling aside, 2pac was average at most things but became big because the dude was an interesting figure and he put feelings into songs and listeners resonated with him. he was influential during his lifetime, but he definitely wouldn't have been as iconic today if he hadn't died. he'd probably be slightly above Snoop/IceCube in terms of fame / respect in the industry.

he didn't have slick rick , nas story telling skills
weak flow compared to big/andre3000
bland vocabulary compared to GZA
etc.

every artist has weaknesses and strengths and consumers see them differently depending on what they're looking for

Thinking of getting X on my government documents, for my gender

Thoughts?

Yes, my country allows that.

Only reason 2pac has such a huge fanbase is because of his marketing skills. He appeals to wannabe hipster kids who go around liking "back in the 90s" posts on Facebook and saying everything was so much better back then. You claim the past is better only because your present sucks - basically the description of every Milan fan too.

2pac is a garbage rapper, technically. Biggie shits all over him lyrically and murders him with a better flow. Only reason 90s kids seem to like 2pac better is because Biggie being a fat ugly fuck reminds them of themselves.

You know the closest thing to 2pac if he was born in this generation, would be someone like Lil Pump, an attention whore "shock" rapper.

:fp:

im the first one that will say just listen whatever u want and really dont think too deep about the music..and "good" is definitely subjective but thats just so wrong
im 120% sure if we poll worldwide hiphop fans.. atleast 80% of the people would classify tupac as a very good rapper ..other 20% would say he is a good rapper (im talking purely technical here)

u are out of touch with hiphop(fans)

are you asking me if i am likening european tupac fans to shoe-less peasants sitting on the dirt floor in front of a wood burning stove listening to a gramophone ?

nope, i'm not! this would be hyperbole

too bad i missed the whole mercato, and im not really active during the season, but i want to thank everyone for posting rumours that kept me refreshing non stop :proud:
Also congrats on the legends coming home, and getting rid of controversies, hope the ground is more stable now.

I didnt like that Mirabelli got so much shit though. He brought Kessie, Hakan, Bonucci, Conti. He did fuck up the attack completely (we'll see what will become of Silva, but at this point he's a failure), but I dont think he has done a bad job. I'd rate Leo's work around the same. If Mirabelli didnt get Bonucci when he had the chance, the Caldara-Higuain wasnt gonna happen. As Gattuso said, Gonzalo's name was hot even before ownership change, so probably Bonucci-Higuain was gonna happen anyway, maybe Mirabelli wouldnt push for Caldara, noone knows, but we know that the only great transfer of the new board happened cause we had Bonucci. Judging by the rest of the transfers that Leo made, I'm not sure we would have a WC forward now. He seized the opportunity just like Mirabelli did with Bonucci, and both did good.
On other autonomic signings..
I've always liked Laxalt and was happy that he was signed, I hope he can revive our dead flanks. As most of you I have only seen Samu on youtube when we got linked to him, and I can't say anything yet, no rating on that one. I also didnt find Bakayoko terrible against Napoli, to jump in into a messy game like that and raise midfield level signifficantly, he had to be Kante or Kroos or something like that, which he clearly isnt, but he showed some good things too, he can carry the ball forward and do nutmeg passes :D I dont like Gattuso shitting on him and saying he's defective, while nothing was said about Biglia who was disastrous on the pitch. Anyway, Bakayoko surely isnt an anchor but if we switch to double pivot it may work. He wont be consistently good, but he can be useful. I really hope we switch to Reina, cause Dollar is just out of it, the kid has psychological problems and shouldnt be starting.

And yeah.. I'm doomed to have a top class forward that I personally hate on my team. Zlatan, Balo (when he was considered a star lol), Gonzalo.. damn, remember him celebrate that shitty win against us last year like they won CL, punchable.. but I'll restrict myself and will support them all :D

sacrifice hakans shot and final passes and make him a regista? He finally found himself, i dont think throwing him around the field all the time is a good idea. He can win balls, but he will have his biglia moments in his place, he's not a defender at heart.

I wont put Jack beside Hakan, we would have weak midfield with regard of defensive ability. As somebody mentioned, he would suffer in that position as he is just fragile defensively.

I would put Hakan with free role in front of Bakayoko and Kessie:

-------------GK--------------
-------- 4 Backs -----------
----Kessie------Bakayoko---
-----------Hakan-------------
Suso--Higuain----Jack/Samu

Hakan at lcm is a failed experiment. Never again.
