yeah im insane for rating a player like heitinga who was a laughing stock and entering highlights for fuck ups and red cards and played in shit clubs like everton hertha fulham and old ATM lower than Benatia who played in Roma, Bayern and Juventus, always on top level and reaching finals too. Not to mention he didnt come near to the amount of fuckups and lumberjack plays of heitinga. Then theres De vrij who went to Inter for free from Lazio when the world is on CB hunger, and threw a UCL spot away on the last day. Even if we take them as equal, as i stated, its a tie at best. I remember dutch fans cursing life and generation for having heitinga and matijsen start in their NT, but now suddenly those mediocrities became top players just cause they're old If thats so, Martin Laursen was also better than Benatia On Van Dijk, too early to tell. He's played in fodder clubs and had rough moments in liverpool as well.
