We need more people like you on the forums
I've questioned Tonalis price tag all summer long, especially when he was rumored to be Inter's for sth around 35-40M. Always said that's a lot for a gamble and I personally wouldn't go beyond 20-25M.
But now I feel like I need to remind people here that Tonali didn't have any preparation whatsoever, has just joined a new team and needs time to settle and learn how to fit in Piolis system. The best thing we can do is forgetting the price tag and not expecting too much. The last thing that will help the boy is an overdemanding place that puts too much pressure on him. Remember how people were shitting about Bennacer when he first arrived and fucked up one or two games in the beginning?
He'll grow. You'll see.
We do not deserve this win. Ibra truly makes all the difference.
Daniele Maldini (waaaaay too slow to be a striker in a top league, will never cut it, you can quote me on that).
Tonali (third appearance in a row that he has looked completely off the pace and sloppy in possession and when making challenges).
Theo (can lose his head at times and when steam is coming out of his ears and he's charging forward, you know defensive mistakes and getting caught out on counters is waiting just around the corner).
Krunic (I don't want to let 2 good passes cloud my judgement, this dude belongs at Empoli and not Milan, how the fuck did he end up on our roster, God only knows).
Colombo (sorry to say it, but he was exposed as an absolute fraud today, he will take the same path as Daniele Maldini, quote me on this one too).
Saelemakers (pacey and a decent utility player, but guess what this is MILAN! We don't want utility players, we want difference makers as opposed to saladmakers and this guy will never make the difference).
Kjaer (this guy has 6-month tops of futbol in his legs per season, he will not last. He's like slow burning candle with very little wax left in the jar).
Gabia (needs to bulk up and get stronger, I still think out of all of the youngsters playing up from Primavera this season, he has been the most consistent. He has potential).
Calabria (great again today, but again, he blows hot and cold. I've never seen him play at this level consistently, let's see...)
Ben & Kessie (doing a job,and doing it well. But it's just that, "doing a job". Lacking a bit of passion and showing leadership qualities on the field aside from just playing, need to see Irba level communication/motivation. Raise the bar for everyone, not just yourself).
Hakan (I've never seen someone that is so good at disappearing and reappearing in games. Sometimes I forget he's on the field and then he pops up with a goal or assist LOL. I'm satisfied with him).
Team Chemistry looked weak today without Ibra. Watched a stream with no sound other than stadium noise. WAAYY too quite. Team was timid, not communicating, and shocked every time they conceded. Not a team prepared to get into the top 4. If Ibra goes down, I don't know wtf is going to happen to be honest.
What we feared since the beginning: take Ibra out and there is no backbone anymore. This squad still misses a leader, some charisma on the field. As been said before: this team is just one or two injuries away from fighting for 5th and 6th spot. Obviously need a quality injection in the back and upfront.
Interview at the end of the game between #Hauge , scorer of the second goal of #BodoGlimt , and Paolo #Maldini
Possible attempt to deal with the offensive winger that impressed the Rossoneri management

Dear god the nagging.
Its true Pioli fucked up second half with his subs.
And ofcourse we will suffer if & when three of our attackers including two definite starters are missing.
With that out of the way i think we had a good game considering the above.
We created more chances & we linked well probably better than our best games prior to Pioli.
We were far from boring, in fact we looked in control & we did it as a team.
We would be even talking about an easy game if Pioli played the second half better than he did.

Another thing, go watch petagnas first appearances for us...didn't have anything close to what Colombo has shown so far. Colombo clearly has the stronger instinct. Great strike on him and he could've had two yesterday..forcing a good save. FYI Petagna went for a decent fee to Napoli. There's no doubting Colombo could have a better career than him if he continues to progress
And rebic and leao
Ibra was out for a month during covid wasn't he? And I remember how people felt we actually played better. Anyway, I'll take the positives from last night. We were also missing our captain and best CB but anyway we created a lot of scoring chances and scored 3 goals still.
And I'm starting to consider Kessie a leader out there. Can never fault his energy or effort. His passing has improved massively out of nowhere, pinging amazing long passes consistently. He's a reference for Tonali. Who needs time. He's barely played ffs.
Who was the last primavera player that was good for milan...no words need to be added
