Leao (N/A): Was taken off after the first 45 minutes and he would have got a rating if it wasn?t for the fact that he was invisible. He wasn?t really involved in anything and it?s clear that centre-forwards isn?t his best role.

EL is a coinflip. Play like we did against Red Star and we can lose to any of those teams, play like we did post-lockdown and last year, we can beat any of those teams. How long will our current form last, and what impact it will have, is the real key. If we can find the consistency and actually play football again, things will look up. We're no longer in a position to blame injuries or such, since this started when our key players started to return even if not in form. Now only Bennacer is a key player out, while Diaz returns soon and Gabbia isn't the biggest loss to the squad (although would start over Romagnoli in my books).

Romagnoli needs Suso-like treatment...sell him, but buy proper replacement, unlike for Suso where we didn't invest.
So we need two CBs (or risk with Gabbia, Kalulu and injury prone Kjaer, also with Tomori who is also young and not proven), we need RW, vice Theo, another midfielder, vice Hakan, and maybe ST if Ibra leaves.

A lot of work ahead of us. But, everything falls apart if we fail to qualify for CL...

Rebic won a few ground duels and otherwise was very bad. Leao didn't even do anything but 3 successful passes out of 8 total touches in 45. Rebic is at least involved but ends up being detrimental to us except for in the offside goal build-up. Leao is like playing a man down. Both need to step up as you said, sad Hauge was out of EL squad list but given how poor he was in his games prior I doubt he'd do much more with the support around them.
