What I don't really understand is why the players let their agent ask those sums.

Raiola is asking for 70m with Haaland

This makes perfect sense people, carry on. Nothing to see here.

If we had Berardi over Messias/Saele this season I can assure you we'd have wrapped up Scudetto by now. Having a functioning RW - even if it's Berardi - is better than not having one at all.
We would have scudetto even if we had Deulofeu instead of the current crop

He's good for the here and now. But many people are right to question how viable he is as a long term plan. And how does he cope in the CL?

Whatever the answers, he would surely score some goals in this team.

Prime Di Maria would be an ideal RW.

I'll be more than happy even if we can "only" get Botman, Caqueret, Nunez, and a decent RW

Sheva had elite speed.

Darwin is fast enough for a 9.
He is probably as fast now as Sheva was when we started to see his decline as a top CF
Yeah....like I said we don't need three super fast players as long as the left and right flanks look something close to Wild's insane formation.
We could do with some variety in attack and get a hungry #9 like Nunez who will keep disrupting the opponent's defensive line with his runs.

Probably with Orsolini too.
Glad Maldini doesn’t reason in “anybody would be better” …that’s how you collect garbage. In the end you have a lot of “anybody would be better”s and when you add them you have “not good enough team” ... with specifically those "anybody would be better"s dragging the team down. economically and on they field because they may be "better than" but still "not good enough" for our goals, our style.

Forget flanks.
A defence of Theo-Tomo-Kalu-Singo would be illegal

I have only one home
Hey buddy, jokes aside, did you watch Fever Pitch on Amazon? It’s about the rise of the Premier League in the 90s. Lots of focus on United. Actually, a pretty good watch, and I don’t like English football at all. Three episodes. Worth it.

First and foremost your CF in a pressing side has to possess athleticism and endurance. Any combo of big, fast, strong, or tireless is needed in order to lead the defense from the front by harassing the opposition. Next, he has to be a good goal scorer. After that... its all variable.
I'm sorry but our striker is not going to be 'bravo Ante bravo Ante' first and foremost unless it's Belotti and even then he would disappoint you.

Our best pressing was with Rebic and Saelemaekers on the wings and even then Pioli dropped Rebic for Leao.
The striker will need to press but not be a mad man.

We chose Ibra then Giroud and Pellegri then Lazetic - none of those match what you say we should be after.

I hope this take over is a pre summer thing and not during or post
I'm still waiting for that year when we get our targets in early and they prepare well, show off in summer friendlies and the team looks complete.
