This my derby formation. GK is Vásquez but the app doesn’t even have his name, but anyone is better than Tata at this point. I have Calabria on the bench b/c he forgot how to play football since he came back from injury. I’m not an expert at all and hell this lineup could be BS, but it’s definitely better than this gibberish posted on Twitter.
I’m in favor of Alexis as a Mezzala as well. I think he has the right skill set to play there

He is doing awesome job at Brighton. I don't think he will leave England that soon.
Things will not improve with Pioli.
Milan might be the step up he's looking for tho? Surely if Milan call u go? Massive club with hopefully CL football

But RnB told me that Leao will renew
yeah I don’t see us getting more then 50-60m in the summer, at best.

I could see us deciding to keep him, haggling all of next year, then losing him for free

Shambolic

Nice line up but we all know Pioli will not play Thiaw and CDK at start
And he will choose pobega instead of salad there..

So you want Pioli out who has had nothing to spend but is still in a European slot....yet are dreaming about a dude who is in NINTH place behind the likes of Brentford, Fulham and Brighton.

Lol donkey I said that Klopp was a pipe dream because of his salary + transfer requests so we can forget about him. But yeah, let’s judge him based on ONE season and forget that he’s won both the league and CL with Liverpool (in addition to finishing runner up in both comps numerous times) in the past.

Also, Liverpool hired him after finishing 7th with Dortmund (where he also won the league multiple times and finished CL runner up) and the rest is history.

100m wont solve it alone

better coaching might help

better SD might increase chances

a lot more money to spend could help

99% of you think it’s one or two things and presto, we back

sadly this isn’t the case

this can’t be your answer

one that involves alternate universes

Why would Leao sign new contract under fraud owner?

Because he's making less than 1,5M right now, owes ~20M to Lille and - if he's really that good as he thinks he is - clubs will come knocking on his door anyway.

He can't demand super-star-wages (for Serie A standards for sure) and mickey mouse clauses. He can't have it both ways. These days with 60-70M the best you can do is a Maguire. I can already see a Donnarumma 2.0 in the making: hyped and lured with big money way too early. That's exactly why you don't make players who haven't even turned 23, 24 or 25 the best payed players of the league already. They can't handle that. Who of us would have been able to when we were this young? We were still children! It's the same thing with them. Maybe even worse since they've lived in a bubble their whole live. They will loose touch with reality for good. It happens all the time. Donnarumma, Kessie, Leao. Even when you look over to the big fishes in England or Spain you see it happening all the time: when young players get too much hype and money as soon as they have three hairs on their balls it doesn't end well.

Even players as talented as Leao need to grow steadily but gradually with their wages. I've always perfectly understood why Maldini wouldn't just give whatever Donnarummas, Kessies or Leaos agent would demand even when people mocked me I'm coping or not being realistic. But once again I see myself confirmed: it doesn't end well. It rarely does. It's no surprise for me it's happening again. Now I only hope that this time Maldini can sell him for good money before we end up again empty handed.

There are actually some interesting similarities between Klopp and Pioli, both needed some time to change from 4-2-3-1 to 4-3-3, 4-2-3-1 was Klopps favorite formation for a very long time, both have big problems with injuries. Both also have problems with bad spells and crisis weeks/months.

While Klopp has a good track record he also had equally numerous seasons where he only challenged for a CL place and has his second bad season now with Liverpool.

In my opinion with this brand of football some of these things like more injuries, tendency for streaks of good and bad form, maybe even less tactical flexibility are somewhat inherent and come with that style.

The most stable style of football probably still is a more conservative approach, but on the other hand football should also be about enjoying the game and not strictly only results.

Why would Leao sign new contract when you're receiving the same instructions game in game out for 3 seasons yet the coach says there's more to learn, room for growth but not teaching the KID new things. Leao is developing into a physique strong enough to bully defenders yet he always has to play "in space, knock ball past defender then sprint🤔look at Mbappe. His play is so unpredictable, especially when he does one two pass receive moves. Pioli has to go, what if this is part reason we've been losing players, the project(Pioliball) Kessie was previously playing on the right side of mid 3,then Pioli switch to 2CDM formation and stuck him on the left to cover for Theo.. Then by the time pioli plays him more box to box(defensive AM, 😭) barca was already knocking on his door with a new project.

Kessie to CDM improved him big time.

I don’t think it’s a presto we back

It’s more of a presto we look like a team who has been coached and can execute the basics

Nesta on how he would strengthen Milan: “I would fix the bench, because you can't always play with the same ones, and I would go all-in on the centre-forward. I hear people attacking Pioli and Maldini: pure madness. We need someone from the property to put their face on it and tell how things are"

To add more salt into the wounds

Zero actual news or quotes. All most likely bullshit extrapolated from the current bad form of the team and the fact that he didn't sign yet. Nobody knows what's actually going on.

Which is a good thing, Kessie has a good shot but horrible finishing.
Terrible shot, but he was appointed our pk taker bro. Anyways, it's like saying move Leao away from goal because terrible shot. No I doesn't work that way. Kessie scored consistently each season which is something our DMs seem to lack. See for yourself IMG_20230131_120904.jpg

Kessie doesn't have a bad shot, I never said that, I said he has a good shot. You can tell that his shooting technique is there, he just didn't score a whole lot from open play. If you want a b2b with goal output from open game Tonali and Pobega are your friends.

Kessie is a decent b2b but a CDM with world class potential. He had some charm going forward but limiting his attacking role and fielding him as CDM led to some of our best streaks and performances and is what made Barca interested. They wanted Kessie the Anchor, not Kessie the b2b.
