Imo it also depends on the clause, if we can push it up towards 90-100m and it is one like Bennacer has (only valid during specific month starting from the second year) it is not that bad.

Did Pobega play in a 433 for Torino?

Torino played a 3421. In the first half of the season, he was playing as a DM in the double pivot of their 3421 (in the middle of the "4")--and then in January, when Milan told Torino that they didn't want to sell Pobega to Torino, Torino went and bought Ricci.

So in the second half of the season, they then pushed Pobega into the "2" of the 3421, where he basically did the job that Krunic does when he plays CAM for us.

I don't think Torino played 433 last year, but I didn't follow them that closely, just tuned in to see a few games of Pobega.

He played both CM and AM in a 3-4-2-1.

Overall he belongs into a b2b or more defensive AM position, that‘s also where he played all his recent matches for us and did pretty well.

Thanks for the sources!

Damn, Elliott actually invested quite a lot in Milan then. Not sure where the "Elliott is so cheap" claims come from :conf:

I mean yeah as a fan you always want to see more, but it's not like they just took over from Li and then didn't do fuck all. It's a lot of money, and it could have easily backfired if the technical project wasn't carried so well and far beyond all our expectations by the management.

It's easy to invest if you get the club at a cut price of 300 mil! If the project backfired after they put in a total of 700 mil, they could have just sold the club for around 700-750 mil and gotten out breakeven. I mean Li's deal with Berlusconi was for around 750 mil (500 mil to Berlusconi and 250 mil to cover the debt ). Elliott made a 500 mil profit and they can get up to another 500 mil of bonuses from Redbird. Pretty good business for them.

So essentially in a double pivot was where he excelled? And thats supposed to be the height of his game?

I do remember him using his body a lot for Torino and shielding the ball none of this running around like a headless chicken. Maybe his game or instructions doesn't suit our style...something is just off.

Really pleased by those Dimvula statements, hopefully we get a resolution soon.

His 'early years', meaning all the way back in the olden times of 2019, 2020 and 2021. It's just one summer that he had more misses. Even that, it's hard to judge since most of them were young guys that need time to develop.

2019: Theo, Bennacer, Leao
2020: Saelemaekers, Tonali, Tomori, Kalulu
2021: Maignan, Giroud

I guess you could argue 2021 wasn't that great (I disagree, and it's the year season we won the title anyway). We also redeemed Tonali and Tomori that year, so you could share them in either year. Anyway, the point is that it's a little funny to say 'early years' when he was hitting home runs for 3 of his 4 years.
Summer 2021 is where it all started
You can disagree with all you want, but Facts are facts and a leicester esque scudetto won’t change that

I'm afraid Kojak takes away the W this time around. Freddy has to prepare and do better in the summer.

Lol Roma are just digging their own grave deeper and will have no leg to stand on during negotiations this summer. After all, they badly need capital gains so can't afford to let him walk for free next year and will be practically FORCED to accept whatever Maldini offers.

c.15-20m plus bonuses should do the trick.

Not sure what’s the point of posting stupid tricks. Not even impressive ones.

Imagine sending three times wrong documents to PSG . I like this new Chelsea owner ,troll master.

Other clubs shouldn't be angry at Chelsea, new owner ,new business, it's all new for them .

15m for one year should be enough. Zaniolo is maybe worth 30-35m under ideal circumstances, so with 1 year left, a shit half season followed by damnatio memoriae 15m is plenty.

Instead of spending 20m on Brahim, I'd rather take Zaniolo for the same money and somehow hope that him and CDK can realise their immense potential next season. Sell Messias + Salad for c.15m to cover the costs.
