Knowing how little Diaz is. Knowing that he's never caused trouble at Milan. Always ready to do wotever is asked of him. Selfless, humble... all round nice guy.

Could any of youse tell him to 'feck off' to his face? I'll tell ya, Id have great difficulty in doing that.
sure, because you have to crouch just to see his face

Yeah I thought the exact same thing when watching that video. All those goals come from situations where Bacca has an awful lot of space to exploit and most of the times only one or two CBs to beat if anything. I guess that's because we used to play very defensive back then under Sinisa and were counting on those counters with Bacca who wasn't as fast as Leao but still fast enough. If you compare his goals to Girouds, nowadays the box is always so crowded and it's very hard to get shots so freely:

It must be said tho Bacca had "only" one weapon which was his right foot. The man couldn't even stop the ball with his left foot. You can see how he doesn't even score one goal with something else than his right food no matter if he has to practice yoga on the pitch to get the shot with his right foot
From all giroud goals, all of them is first touch goals, only 1 goal against inter when he trick skriniar when he made more than 1 touch
I don't mean to belittle him.. But he depends a lot from perfect situation/pass to score even against 1 or 2 cb he can not beat them if he is required to do something with the Ball except shooting or heading..

Damn I miss Sheva a lot, last complete striker we have, can score by any means, right food, left food, header, first touch shoot, trick defender, shoot from box, shoot from long range

@Fabio made one of the best points in the entire commode when he said he focuses more on other aspects of his life when Milan goes through a period like this.

Try not to let this all affect you, brothers. Ultimately, this is a sport and a club that we have ZERO control over. There is a lot of negativity here, some of it bordering on toxic, and I know this because I was that way for a good 5-7 years of the banter era... Turning on my commode friends because Milan was misery.

Definitely a rough patch and if you have read any of my work over the last 3 years you’d know this was totally unexpected for me. I’ve been positive and riding an emotional high under Pioli’s Milan. I hope we can turn this season around, which at this point means finishing top 4 and somehow getting through Tottenham. Either way, it’s not going to impact my life and happiness outside of a couple of hours a week watching matches and reading the forum. I wish the same for the rest of you.

Actually i feel the complete opposite. I'm relaxed and more focused on everything when Milan is good.

Then we do this shit, and I'm back here every day.

He would legit score 20+ goals in last season’s milan team
No he wouldnt.
Bacca is reliant on support & our support is bad.

Yeah Giroud definitely isn't the type of striker who creates his own chances. Origi was the striker supposed to do that. Giroud on the other hand needs the team around him. He's the classic breed of old school strikers that is slowly dying out but who on the other hand needs one, two half-chances to make a goal in whatever way, and that's what makes him so valuable. There's a reason why he's the record goalgetter of the French NT or why he's been such a perfect fit for us in the last couple of months prior to this awful january.

But yeah a player like the Bacca seen in 15/16 season would come very handy right now I guess. :(

We were pretty good this season until Maignan got hurt...
No we were not, we have been piping cold all season, bar the Napoli game, which we eventually lost. Our team is being forced to defend in a very weird way resulting in too many opportunities for opponents. Even with Mike back, I still see the team conceding shots regularly. But this team is a diamond in the rough I believe. It's crazy to think a few years back, 2018 I told all my, man.ure,Uefalona, friends Milan is coming back for top spot.. And our trajectory lead to the Scudetto. This is only the beginning of a glorious era I believe, besides R. Madrid, I can't see a other squad but us that can claim regular UCL final place. The reason a man city or psg or b. Munchen or Chelsea can become threats is their coach, other than that we have great players, fans, stadium that is worthy of all this greatness Football bestows unto thee.

It was Maldini's plan all along. Has no money and needed to make sure Zaniolo won't play for Roma again so he leaves for free in the summer to us.

Roger Federer is the GOAT
I can understand Roma's anger. We were in a similar situation with Donnarumma and Kessie, and we all often vented our frustration here as fans. Zaniolo is a brat, we all know that.

But as a club, AS Roma is behaving in an absolutely unprofessional and even negligent manner. Starting with Mourinho's statements. They are effectively giving Zaniolo up for grabs. Fans besiege his house and threaten his and his family's lives. This is in no way excusable or understandable. He scratched the ego and pride of these fans. That does not justify this behaviour.

But instead of condemning this behaviour of their own fans or at least asking for restraint (something any serious club should do), something like this comes out. Sure, the 95% of fans are reasonable and just angry (understandable). It's the remaining 5% of lunatic and dangerous violent criminals that worry me and are even incited by Roma.

What a dirty club.

I agree. There are limits. I get the anger but this treatment is horrible and I get why Zaniolo is pissed. We fans had our issues with Donnaruma, Hakan and Kessie, but our club always respected them till the last day of their contract. We are professionals and treat players with basic respect. That’s MY club.

Roma are a disgrace. They should be condoning the abuse Zaniolo is getting by dangerous fans.

I thank Giroud for last year scudetto
But most of his goals comes from passes from Leao on flank

I miss goals from through pass with our striker running and beat the defender

You know we're down bad when people start looking back at the banter era nostalgically :proud:

When a player tells you that he doesn't want to play there anymore and wants to leave, and then he deliberately doesn't show up for training... what kind of understanding should we have for him?

Especially when it comes to Roma and their fans, from whom he always had support and love despite injuries and poor form.

I am 100% on their side. That asshole didn't deserve any sympathy.

Zanilolol playing for Roma was a good thing. His shite performances and output singlehandedly kept that club down. Now they will compete for top 4 with us.

Maldini is fully in sabotage mode now.

Imo since room for error in modern football is a lot smaller because of the importance of money for the arms race we tend to look too much on the table. When I talk to people who are approaching retirement or that are retired I always notice that football used to be a lot more event/match based, now it is much more season based. I think always thinking about the big picture is not helpful and rather stressful when it comes to enjoying football, it is much healthier to see the upcoming derby as a individual game first and not as a 6 pointer for top 4.

too many great players to list but if pushed all time favorite player: Maldini

This season Milan have definitely lost their over all dynamism(which worked so well last year) the high press overall hasn’t been as effective and as a result the defence was put under more pressure started to weaken and conceded uncharacteristic goals. Injuries have been a contributing factor (a high press game does that to you)

But all is not lost they have to figure out a way a system that will reduce the space and time given to opponents. Mike has to come back a.s.a.p, the high press needs to be more effective and the defence need to keep their heads in the game until the whistle goes.

Tonali and Bennacer are getting overrun lately and need help in midfield, pobega has been poor so give Vranckx a proper run in s 3 man midfield.
Try Thiaw at CB, give Adli more minutes in an advanced role, play CDK at RW/F9. Just mix it up a bit.

They have to try alternatives to turn around this dip in form and get more from the squad as a whole.

Try not to be so negative Milan can turn this around and rediscover their form.

There is a ruicosta level SD sitting in deserted island (some club in belgium) ..he got banished from ajax last year
After he left ajax is in complete shambles... sitting in 10th place or something
He was one of the top 3 SD worldwide and made big bucks for ajax
He got fired for harassing many female employees and sending his weener to many girls and touching them inappropriatly
He was also a ex-pro..played for barca etc

rsz-marc-overmars-of-ajax-during-the-dutch-eredivisie-match-news-photo-1644301729.jpg

His name is Marc 'Dickpic' Overmars
He would bring us to CL final but also he would send many many dickpics
Is this something the A.c Milan female employees can deal with for CL glory?

Should we go for it?
Should we let this predator loose?
Would Maldini even work wich such a man?
Right now he is working with mark van bommel as coach

Sympathy? No. People showing up on his doorsteps threatening his and his families live? Damn. He "only" pissed off their ego and pride, he didn't threaten to kill their families.

Well, there's always that minority of lunatics in your fan base you can't control. But AS Roma hasn't even condemned those actions yet. In contrary. With their statements and leaks to the press they are basically giving him up for grab. That's ten times more shamefull than Zaniolos admittedly stupid shenanigans.

1. Hire Mark van Bommel and Marc 'Dickpic' Overmars as our new TD...say its cause of Mark van bommels past with us and his great leadership
2. Fire Mark van Bommel
3. Now we have Overmars...ruicosta level TD
4. CL Final vs Chelsea

we can register free players until the end of februari for the serie a, i think
please Mourinho dismantle his contract
speaking of, Thauvin went for free to Udinese. We were creaming our pants for him not too long ago before he chose mexico over us.

could he be much worse than what we have at RW even at this age?

Its much healthier to enjoy the upcoming derby with room for error, which we don't. Our H2H record does not look good for if we were to finish same points as Inter, Roma, atalanta and add lazio to that list. We have many more 6 pointer games coming up and hopefully this dip in form will be sorted out.
