I paid over €800,- just for the match ticket, add to that train tickets and hotel, all of it to see Milan lose badly. And you know what, I didn't regret it for one second. To be there, even in this dark hour, was better than not being there at all.
Also meeting Seedorf (and General) was priceless and I still had a nice vacation. There's always a bright side if you want to look at it.

I'm sure it was worth it and I'm happy for you. I'm not a gambler and was referring to betting on a team that lately has been playing awful. I have been and will remain a Milan fan all my life through many up and downs including the banter era and Serie B. I even remember when Farina went bankrupt and Berlusconi bought the club with very little money. There is no question I love ACM but I do get frustrated when we play below our expectations like most do. Pioli deserved the chance to finish the season due to the scudetto last season. But it’s probably best to part ways this summer.

Realistically, consistent top 4 and getting out of the CL should be our aim in this phase of the rebuild. Of those goals, we achieved only 1 out of 2 both this and last season, which is not enough. Scudetto was a huge boost but you have to be honest that it was also in huge part due to weak competition that season and excellent individual performance of Leao. Those are factors which clouded the actual stability and progress of the current project.

Squad depth was already an issue last season. Not enough was done to solve that issue this season. At this stage of the season, injuries, bad form and suspensions should be expected, especially if we played the same players for two years at this point. Thus, Leao being injured in this crucial phase should not be an excuse.

In the end it all comes down to investments. CDK, Origi and Adli realistically should been fringe bets, but were presented as our main reinforcements due to our small budget. Especially the CDK bet has proven to be painful. If the new owners are not going to provide more budget in the coming transfer market, things will stay exactly like this. We will hover around top 4, underperform some years and overperform other years. The owners intentions will be decisive coming summer.
