If Kamada comes here, I think people will evaluate him in the same way they did to Hakan when he was here--they'll say he is boring, useless, and does nothing valuable.

Scamacca is already training after his knee surgery, so it doesn't seem that serious. Strikers are shit and rare these days, but Scamacca has the tools to be a serviceable striker. He is a poor imitation of Ibra.

He wouldn't be the first player that West Ham has seemingly ruined only for them to blossom upon leaving. I think a deal for him could be had on advantageous terms, with a loan+option deal, why not try him?

Id still want another striker, if his injury persists or he flops, we're back where we were... But loan with option is not a bad idea.

Him and say Okafor, who can deputy for Leao then makes sense...

Although the talks of Milan picking up a Lille player as part of paying of the Leao fine might see us picking up David...

Problem with Maldini is that his choices were bad.
He could choose not to replace Kess at all or with Baka.
He could choose not to replace Hakan or with Diaz & CDK.
Its could be a tactical approach for all we know.
But those players flopped hard, thats the issue.
CDK represent almost a one year budget.
I hope he will get more chances to redeem himself because i love Maldini & i want him succed.

Even the best players in the world go through poor patches of form. I think it was last year? Or maybe the year before, but KDB started the season really poorly, and was really off-form for a few months. Of course, City could survive that, lol, and when you have a larger system in place, it gives you the ability to weather those sorts of storms.

The point is, freaking out over Kamada is weird, especially in light of the historical revision that has unfolded here over Hakan.

Suso isn’t effective unless he is the “main guy” thats why we improved when he left. Literally Salad was a better fit for the TEAM because he did all the things Suso didn’t, namely running, pressing, defending. If a player puts up numbers but his team is consistently shit, its usually because said player contributes nothing else. Suso is a Carmelo Anthony.

Technical players we already got tonali, Bennacer hopefully RLC. This team has zero dms

Technique is useless if its always playing backwards. Thats the main issue I have with Bennacer, he slows the pace of our game down to a crawl. In matches vs big teams thats useful to control the game. In games vs teams that defend deep its a detriment. We need someone to play the ball forward and be progressive. Im not as gung ho about him as others, but Adli would be more useful vs these small teams.

But Honda was here. And Japanese people are good at a lot of things, football is usually not one of them.

But from highlights he seems more into passing than anything else so i doubt he is a SS.

I'm a huge Leao fan and have been one from the start. But Leao didn't take the extra step this season. Not in terms of technical ability and not in terms of leadership on the pitch. Actually, I would say that I'm disappointed in Leao's season (considering he's our most talented player, by far).

If you're going to do an "accounting" of Maldini's choices, then you have to bring in Maignan, Theo, Tonali, Leao, Bennacer, Tomori, Kalulu, Thiaw, and others. Short-term solutions like Giroud and Florenzi were huge helps to winning the Scudetto, even players like Messias overperformed their cost, even if I want to move on from him.

How many "tests" were setup for Maldini? Theo extension was supposed to be the test. Then it was Bennacer. Then it was Leao. Now those aren't tests anymore?

People were crying about a CB and talking about how stupid a purchase Thiaw was... until the kid got to play. Pioli has refused to let the other two players, Vranckx and Adli, play at all.

Kess is a DM, and Vranckx plays what position again? DM? Oh, right, right, right. And he doesn't get to play? Makes sense, makes sense. We need physicality in our midfield and Vranckx is... oh he's a beast? Why play him? Why try that out? Damn you Maldini!

Oh, let's not forget, Hakan! Hakan is an AM, right? And Yacine Adli is a... AM? No shit. Wow. And he's played... 140 minutes? That's not even two games worth of play time, over the entire season. Wow. Maldini, damn youuuuu.

If we got to see these kids fail, then maybe I'd agree with you. If we weren't outside the top fucking four to Lazio, I'd understand the idea that Adli and Vranckx aren't helpful but... Pioli's choices have been shit. But for some reason, his choice to not play Adli and Vranckx make sense?

Why? Because we have to use the "Kalulu logic"? Kalulu had never played a professional minute before coming here, meanwhile, Thiaw, Vranckx, and Adli have more top 5 league experience than CDK and they've played less than him, while he's been dogshit.
