I was listening to it today and for the first time the word "Demons" struck me, it made me think of Milan. We have demons for sure, and while I Iike to try practice patience and understanding, sometimes unleashing rage is a beautiful thing. It shows pure unadulterated passion!

Example of flawed thinking. Players might be cheap/free but their squad cost is 211m compared to our 128m, based on CalcioFinanza numbers. That's a huge difference. Their squad costs 83m more per year than ours.

I didn't do this chart but I think it shows the CF numbers for 22/23. We dropped our squad costs by 22m this season after dropping massively every year since 2019. Napoli the only team that increased relative to 21/22. Inter also had a big reduction, but their wage bill is insane. Also look at Napoli's amortized transfer cost. It's almost 3 times larger than ours, even if their wage bill is under control. They have a good model, they'll sell for huge capital gain this summer, but they probably can't keep a winning squad if they don't push up that wage bill to keep the best players. There's a reason why Kim, Kvara and Osimhen will probably all leave.

I think Pioli with our squad, with a CF on par with Osihmen or even Lautaro, and with a total squad cost similar to Inter... We'd win every scudetto for 10 years. He's gone mad, but with someone like Sergej and a good CF we can blast past anyone, same way they do with their strikers. We've been playing with a huge handicap, both financially and with Giroud up front (as good as he is).

Easily. We have a load of shit at the moment. I don't line pioli because he is poor tactically vs lower ranked defensive sides. However, if we invest in a great CF, sms and a proper RW 100% we would **** teams. Add in RLC and tielemans as well. Good depth. Maybe get ses as backup. Don't rate ses but he is ok for squad depth.

I think you can look at this chart and see the point of what Maldini and Elliot were doing. We had to cut the fat and build a squad of young players that were paid reasonably. We now have room to grow to keep the likes of Maignan and Leao happy. We increased our revenue from around the 200s to 350m this season. We're about to post a profit.

As long as we learn how to beat low blocks, I'll be very happy. Everything about the plan is going extremely well, except for this one problem that need to be fixed ASAP.

CFs are a good investment. If he scores a couple of goals we can sell him for 30m. Same with Lazetic, it was a risk worth taking to develop him. There's a huge premium for forwards that if you can get a low risk deal, you should always take it. Very little downside.
