We seem to be heavily linked with Openda as well, he personally has given his blessing to the move... Interesting times ahead.

Or are you thinking Wahi or Openda are established? To me, they don't look better than Mikautadze. Firstly, they've not played at a big club, and it looks unlikely that a short striker like them is going to be much use against the pack of teams who sit back against us.

Everything depends on results on the pitch. Chelsea is the prime example. Spend a shit ton on good players, nothing to show for it except for being in the bottom half of the EPL under the likes of Fulham (LMFAO).

Merda's investments could have just as easily blew up in their faces. In fact they still have a chance to implode right now. Lose their next 3 matches and they can boast about almost making top 4 and losing the UCL.

Then you have Ladri, who couldn't maintain their spending ways and ended up committing financial fraud just to keep pace with the likes of City, PSG, Barca and Madrid. Look where that got them.

Time will tell whether or not accounting squad are right, but I'd rather we trade short term mediocrity for long-term sustainability and dominance, over quick fixes for a season or two, only to have it all come crashing down when the loans need to be repaid.
