I started watching football back in 2003, when I became a Milan fans, watching the final vs Juve with my brother. Since then 20 years have passed and there is only one player thats been along my side these 20 years and kept going, Zlatan. He's been with me all this time. Everyone either left or retired long time ago, but one remained along my side... he's literally been with me my entire life and I literally dont know football without Zlatan.
For me, this is truly an end of an era. It feels so weird. 20 years I've been with him and he was always this tough guy, so watching him shed tears yesterday I couldn't help but to do so as well. What an honor to follow his journey since the very beginning, and what an honor that he both played for Sweden and for my favorite club. Growing up in Sweden, as kids playing football out on the streets, his name is all you ever heard. Everyone wanted to be like him, imitate him, and appreciate someones work or goal or whatever by saying "wow, that was just like Zlatan".
I've shed a tear for players like Nesta, Maldini. But I cried my eyes out yesterday because he was always there. This really hurts guys... Thank you Zlatan for being with me my entire life. You'll always be a part of me, I will always remember you, and I know what I'll tell my kids about you growing up just like my dad did with Maldini and Baresi.
Thank you for everything, good luck in the future, I'd love to see you as coach. I'll love you per sempre ❤
