Ibrahimovic played for probably my 3 least favorite clubs before joining Milan. I was not a fan until he joined our club, over a decade later I have nothing but respect and love for him.
Same here. I really really didn’t like him.
Made tons of memes and insults about him
But the guy dragged us out of the banter era. For that I’m always grateful

Now I find myself sad that he leaves without the big ears.
Doesn‘t matter
R9 didn’t win it
Pele didn’t win it
Maradonna didn’t win it

Despite the usual mercato stress and hissy fits in this place, I'm quite confident MM will do much better this time round.

No Ballon d'Or and no Big Ears. It doesn't take away anything from his uniqueness and greatness. That club CV is unrivalled I think. He showered goals in the four biggest leagues without missing a step.

His career trajectory could have been a lot different had we closed that deal in 2006.
It is one of the biggest 'What ifs' in football for me.

Can't do worse than last summer. 35m CDK 0 goals even if glimpses of process. Origi useless. Other new players not helpful. Thiaw only player showing class, and only used due to injuries to begin with.

Or can they? Ultimately Pioli shares much blame for player integration, the use of youth, and not fitting them in correctly.

He showed that his class, ability, attitude, and unique persona was more important in making him a global superstar than winning the biggest awards.

Other players are remembered for the trophies, Ibra will be too, but not just.

What an emotion charged farewell for Ibra. The mercenary finds the impossible... home. You knew shit was getting real when Ibra started to tear up...😭

The love affair between Ibra and Milan is one of the most unique in football, perhaps, in all of sport's history. Ibra's journey is the quintessential Hero's journey; it was actually extraordinarily appropriate that he came onto the ground with the Gladiator theme blazing. Ibra starts his career conquering all, anywhere his services were needed, until he lands in Milano (red side) where he thinks he has finally found somewhere worthy to stay, worthy to fight for. In his words, "I felt happiness the first time". Then at his absolute peak in 2012, his now beloved-club crumbles and is forced to sell him off. He feels betrayed and jaded, and then is forced back to his nomadic ways, conquers all, until he no longer could. He experiences his first signs of mortality by rupturing his ACL at 36 with Man Utd, before seemingly vanished across faraway lands, never to grace the fields that he once dominated.

Then, he finds himself in some crazy once-in-a-generation(s) situation, where the place that he longed to call home has continued to decline into disrepute, desperate for a hero, a hero that only he could fulfil. One final chance for glory at the place he never thought he'd leave the first time. Sequels generally end poorly after the initial nostalgia. But this sequel was more than anyone could ask for - well except maybe for Ibra himself. He has finally arrived from a long, long journey to be where his heart and soul yearns for - home. And he has come back to restore his club to a place where it belongs.

Similar to Maximus in The Gladiator, he becomes the "people's emperor" - the leader that guides and restores, the leader that sows the seeds, but perhaps never experiences the maximum glory that his club so promises. This is best epitomised by him receiving his framed jumper from Maldini, who is pretty much Milan's Marcus Aurelius. Milan plays for European glory, and Maldini is the embodiment of that; with 5 CLs. Ibra has never won a CL, let alone with Milan. But somehow, Ibra embodies AC Milan at its most basic level as a club, a club made of people. You saw this in all of its raw beauty in the farewell; the tears, the joy, even the choked up defiant voice of the announcer announcing Ibra's name for one last time. Somehow, in a season ending without any trophies, AC Milan somehow wins again. One of the most powerful sendoffs I've ever seen. Perfectly fitting for the one and only Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Realism force is neggie squad. "Negativity" is only branded by positivity because positivity cannot handle our realism, hence becoming negativity

On second thoughts, this is probably true.

Carlo was begging for Madrid to sign Leao. I’m sure Leao felt honored that a manager like Carlo wants him and that made him very happy and honored. It gave him to motivation to keep to improving to receive praise and compliments like this.

So yeah, now that you mentioned it, I attribute Leao’s improvement to Carlo Ancelotti. Thanks for the idea Wild.

Fuck off carlo

PSG with the double signing of Ugarte and Asensio, along with Skriniar who will no doubt join

Looking at their squad - they still have a lot of work to do

Also curious about where Marco Verratti would be headed as well.

No team in Italy could make a play for him, so his future is really up in the air

My guess is that Neymar will be the next name to head over to Saudi Arabia (or the MLS) this off-season.

The man played for all of Ajax, Juve, Inter, United, Barca, Milan and PSG, and only showed tru love for ONE of them. Chose HERE to make his home. To walk into the sunset.

You can't buy that. I have never been a Zlatan fan (he always annoyed me) but loved him as a player for us. Always.

Yesterday evening was legendary, even for me.
Ibra always wanted Milan.
Its G fault he wasnt signed earlier even before Juve.

I always wished Maldini retired after Athens. Would have been the perfect swansong.

Similarly, I wish Ibra retired after Sassuolo last year. This season he didn't contribute at all and that is not how I wanted his last season to be.

Taking skills wise. He is a machine. Finisher but not a complete forward. He can't create chances for himself. We will see how good he is when he loses speed.
Why would he lose speed? He’s 22.

Messias needs to go. Hes a level below of what we need and its simply a player who will in 2 years be worth Zero.

Saele is also very limited player but he can be some kind of bench player.

Now lets see is there more then 50mln to actually sign someone good and not again players Padre wont play.
