I keep seeing these hopeful posts on CDK.

To me, he has shown absolutely nothing to make me believe there is a player in there.

No dribbling

He’s not flashy, but for 6’4” he beats his man in midfield fairly well

No driving runs

You have a bad memory, against Empoli, Udinese, Bologna and a few others he’s turned his man and started counters

No ball carrying
No real tackling/interceptions

He won the ball back yesterday, in the box, and Salad fucked up the pass to an open Rafa/Giroud.

No quality shots

Should have scored on numerous occasions, specifically versus Salernitana away.

No real aerial prowess or physicality. (For someone his size)

Has to improve here, especially as he isn’t quick, he has to get physically stronger and improve his offensive aerial presense.

He looks lost a lot of the time. Everyone brings up Leao and Tonali, but I feel with them we saw glimpses of talent.

Leao yes, Tonali no. Tonali looked like he didn’t belong in Serie A his first season. His passing, touch, and overall awareness were nowhere near the level. But, as with CDK, it was always evident that the things he showed in his previous club weren’t forgotten suddenly. Tonali himself commented on this saying it was the weight of the shirt that was affecting him.

Hoping he proves me wrong, but I don’t see it.

Maldini has not failed. That is simply not true. We did get CL in the end and got CL Semis too. Obvious it would have been nice to do the double but alas.

Not all signings have been perfect but many have been and his name has often been referenced as a reason for why players join.

Tare can be a good move. Much more experienced DS then Maldini, he had some great signings and some bad ones too. It's undeniable that Lazio is where it is with Tare's work.

Who knows what's there to be believed, but this is truly amazing.

Maldini is a man of principle. I think if last year he agreed to a 3 year contract under certain terms (budget kf 30m, 50m, wahatever), than he will have seen out his contract and worked with what's given to him for the good of the club. If he is now leaving, it means Cardinalshit has changed the terms?

Who knows. But if it's the other way around, than as much as we all love Maldini, maybe he has some burden to carry on this as well.

I see this posted a lot and I am not singling you out, but come on, disaster?

This team got top 4 and semi finals in CL. Yea we had a favorable draw and Juve cheated, but come on, "disaster"?

The season for me was a solid 6.5, but last summer was a disaster. Maldini wasn't all too blame, but he made massive mistakes. We didn't strengthen areas that have been issues for years and opportunities were missed.

But I was chill with it all and felt lessons would be learnt and this summer would be most excellent.

If Maldini walks, I'll be very numb going into this mercato.
