Remember that one interview Maldini gave, I think it was before the Super Cup? Things were going south and he made the excuse Milan were in the top 4 and still fighting for the CL, Coppa Italia and Super Cup. Didn't he also say they need to work within the parameters? Seeing Maldini cast aside in this crass way is unacceptable was he perfect no but he brought Milan back! to a respected placing. Pioli he has made far more errors tactically this year. He was good helping Milan get second and then Lo Scuddetto but has disappointed this year.

I genuinely don’t know what kind of Milan is coming after this will Milan lose its core due to a very rash and wreck-less decision ? This summer will be very telling. Is Moncada up to the job I really hope he is.

Maldini has to force Cardinal to agree to a 50m transfer budget before signing his cotract extension last summer. Whereas, Chelsea who is own by an American squandered more than 500m on transfer fee alone.
