How have you got from 35 to 90?And what inspires confidence that it will be only 35 m? The words of La Repubblica?
Even if it is only 35 + sales, this is easily 55-60 m. Maybe 80-90 if we add Salad and CDK.
Kalulu, Maignan, Thiaw, Bennacer and Tonali combined cost less than 60 m. That's half of our starting line up.
And gems like Kone, Enzo, Muani, Caicedo, Kvara pop up all the time for 0 or at 5-10-15 m.
Proper scouting and acting fast >>>> paying big money
When the mofos give any indications otherwise sure.
These wankers did not even want to provide a budget for a backup keeper in January.

....................... Isn't this what we've been doing for the past 4 years too?
I like the always Milan at the end, indicates that he wants to stay at Milan, otherwise he could've just posted always Maldini.
FalseNo
When Real bought Vinicius they still had the likes of Ronaldo to help him slowly settle in
When they bought Tchouameni they still had Kroos and Modric.
Real have slowly transitioned their team to younger players while at the same time having world class players to help them settle in.
We buy younger players and the expectation is for them to hit the ground running because the senior players above them are rubbish or mediocre.
The one time we did do this well was with Tonali. He was allowed to have a poor season because we had Bennacer and Kessie to lead the line.

Who talked about revolutionising the youth sector? I miased that somewhere.I'm curious about this revolution in the youth sector
Maldini only proving that Cardinale is right by getting failed in almost all of his transfer in the last summer.Maldini’s demand for full decision-making power is considered ‘old-fashioned’ by Cardinale who, on the contrary, demands ‘sharing’ of choices. The mistake might have been the renewal a year ago, but the change of ownership in progress discouraged the idea of a full overhaul back then.
However, a testing year reached boiling point when Maldini publicly called for the club to invest. Cardinale meanwhile does not think that whoever spends the most wins, but whoever does it better. These are irreconcilable ways of working, and it led to a split.
sorry, i don't understand this take 1 bit and the cognitive dissonance of people who berated pioli just 2 weeks ago and now hoping for him to bring us back to greatness baffles meI have to admit I’m really excited to see what Pioli has in store for us.
He can prove to all of us that Maldini was holding him back and that with him getting more power, we will soar high.
I’m not optimistic but the idea of our coach having a say in transfers and playing our new players will be exciting to say the least. I always had belief that a coach should have a say in transfers.
Or he can fall down even further and banking on him was a mistake.
Come on Padre Pioli, prove to us what you got.
Imagine he gets a say in the transfers and he still doesn’t play them though, that would be next level batshit insane.
Next season is do or die for Pioli and I have to admit that prospect excites me a bit.
You really think teams won't be interested in Salad? How have you got from 35 to 90?
Player sales require other team interest? Who would want to touch CDK right now or Alexis?
Definitely understand and agree that scouting talent is better than paying top dollar. The issue i have is you also need to pay for young talent. Should it be 35 or 40 this is still not enough in todays market.
If we are looking to stay on our current trajectory, Maldini said it best, we require investment now. We can't afford to buy cheap young talent and nurture them for 2 seasons before it pays dividends.
ha! you general back-up accountI believe in me. There's my introduction, carry on.
As I already said multiple times, if you replace the name Paolo Maldini in this statement with Massimiliano Mirabelli, whole RnB would've been celebrating right now.Maldini only proving that Cardinale is right by getting failed in almost all of his transfer in the last summer.
Very mature. I think I will develop towards that position myself. What else is there to do?As an eternal believer of the Red and Black colours, I’m on board to give the fury of Furlani a shot.
Dissing Maldini is that way was inhumane, but we don’t know what happened in that room.
Forza Giorgio.
hahahahSome people think Maldini was holding back the “great Pioli”
Hahahahahahahahahahahaha
if you look what paolo did so far then you would see he brought soooo much more great then not and biggest flop was cdk for 35 mil we could esaly sell him for 25+As I already said multiple times, if you replace the name Paolo Maldini in this statement with Massimiliano Mirabelli, whole RnB would've been celebrating right now.
sorry, i don't understand this take 1 bit and the cognitive dissonance of people who berated pioli just 2 weeks ago and now hoping for him to bring us back to greatness baffles me
pioli is an historically failed coach who couldn't cut it during his 2nd year in most teams that he previously coached, he lucked out getting a super team by the works of boban & gazidis & maldini, and the players grew organically and won the scudetto due to uncompetitive serie a & great organizational cohesiveness
last year he failed upwards, getting a cozy cl run and shithousing serie a results with very few actual footballing highlights during the season. praying that maignan will save the defence and leao the attack. no fluid ball movement and insane press like the post covid run which was his saving grace regarding different approach to football than what we've seen before. not using his bench at all and resorting to the scudetto squad until they're affected by muscle injuries. the kebab and kessie which people are so lamenting for in here after they left were shit during their first two years here and took off only after gaining confidence in the system. but no, giving vranckxxx 2 full matches during his 1st season here, adli to sit out and reach level 265 in candy crush, and sleeping on thiaw when we have the perfect dynamic of kalulu-tomori-tata for a few weeks in a row working out so well, that gave so much confience to the ownership that pioli is the right coach to integrate a youth project.
the fuck did he do to earn the credit like a klopp/pep/ancelotti level coach, having a bigger say in the transfer market? the guy adores brahim diaz and will gladly splash 20m on him. if the 'pioli will get a bigger say in the transfer market' is just bullshit rb corporate talk while in actuality moncada gets the players he sees fit and pioli is expected to field them then fine, although it's disgusting by itself and misleading the fans. but actually giving pioli power in deciding who will be puchased in 10's million euros? guy who integrated exactly 1 youngster during this year and fucked several other's progress? yeah, perfect fit for a rb football philosophy. the fuck.
i'm not discrediting him for pushing above his weight this is with cl sf and top 4(*), but if the ownership actually saw his performance and how he got there they would sack his ass along with paolo. i'm comparing it to the mcu, especially phase 4+5, while the movies are objectively shitty, they rest on the laurels of the previous 3 phases' success and made big bucks at least in the beginning period. however, the diminished return of said box office success was great as it progressed, since the audience caught up with the fact that they're not getting quality experience and worn out the welcome of phases 1-3.
THAT'S EXACTLY what happened to pioli after scudetto season. team figured him out, low block for 90', and he couldn't scrape by or adapt his tactics. i'm guessing leao giroud tonali and fucking messias aren't enough unlock spezia & cremonese. our squad is so bad that 4 straight defeats against inter are expected with such a massive squad strength gap, as if lautaro martinez is haaland and kebab is kdb. and if so, then you use the same tactics fucking spezia uses against you, and sit it out at your half. or, i don't know, fielding a 3atb tactic which saved him after taking a full month to understand how to use.
sorry cloren that isn't directed specifically at you, just that the sentiment is repeated so much here and just doesn't make sense to me.
ooo my God,things getting better, man that great arsen wenger told is biggest Idiot off allLooks like monday after meeting with Maldini, Cardinale had a meeting with Furlani and Billy Beane and BB will work as an advisor
We will become FurPioli force,Padre would win us a Cl if there wasnt Maldini holding him back now finally we are free from Maldini to unleash Padre Piolihahahah
or that now when we free our selfs from paolo we will become great and spend.
