My main point isn’t about what they achieved or what they earned. It’s about the role of a coach. I think it’s fair enough for a coach to have more power in the market.

The current ownership believes a coach should have more say in the market and I agree with that assessment.

if pioli still rode the scudetto season high then sure, give him a budget and a direct input on who the club should be invested in down the line for years.
however, since we did went through this season with many tactial & personal (in terms of man management) faults, it would be a bad call to give him much of an emphasis in that.
especially given his track record at collapsing after a relative high in his previous teams unlike ten haag/pep which you mentioned.

of course he shouldn't be bamboozled like (supposedly) what happend last summer, but i believe he should tell the ownership what are his desired profiles and they should leave it at that. no dominant power or consultation in deciding regarding specific players. if that's his level of involvment then he earned that right given that he's the coach.
again, lack of clarity by redbird and general phrasing is what leaves this undetermined.

The only one that deserves his head lost is Gerry for his treason against the family. Nothing could be more positive than the reinstatement of the rightful liege.

I think I'll pick it up pretty quick. Grew up skating, snowboarding, and can walk on a 1inch wire. Surfing is something I've always wanted the opportunity to learn. Not many sports can you participate with mother nature in such a way.
