We have plenty of fodder who were part of the list who will be gone now .Pobega was for the UCL list more than anything.
We don't have 4 starting quality Italian trained and 4 starting quality Milan-trained players.
He was there that ticked all the boxes and an extra body, just in case anything happened to Sandro or Ismael.
At the end of the day, we are only allowed to bring in 17 foreigners into the UCL squad. If Kamada, Thuram, N'Dicka or whoever comes in, someone else gets kicked off the list.

You can blame Pioli all you want on Adil but CDK I'm afraid is on his own. I don't remember any player in the past 5 years who has been defended time and time again by the club. He has been given multiple opportunities too. The boy first needs to be joyful then football will flow. Can't walk about looking despondent and wonder why things go pear shape.Adli and CDK will be very good players, but not in Milan. Bald shitter doesn't know how to use them.
He is playing with defansive attacking mdf
Okafor is another dude that hasn't scored double digit goals....in the mighty Austrian Bubdesliga, playing for a club that's lost 3 games in the last 2 seasons. I'm not sure what the data analytics say on him, but it better be exceptional because the stats surely aren't.

I don’t disagree, but in the case of Botman we moved on to a cheaper alternative in Thiaw, who I think proved to be very bit as good as Botman, especially because it’s not like Thiaw was surrounded by high performers… Thiaw walked into a defense that looked like ******s trying to fuck a doorknob and did an amazing job (remember Kalulu committing a red card slide on Thiaw lol).Something I think we will get back to and the one big plus is focusing on player profiles. I think this is one thing Maldini moved away from slightly, an example would be moving the budget from botman to CDK who aren’t similar.
We used to find a list of similar players, set limits and move on if a club wouldn’t budge. How many defenders did we miss on before landing Tomori? I think Moncada will go back to that. If we don’t get Thuram or whoever, I think at least a similar player will come.
Which means if these are the guys they want, athletic whatever, we can expect the team to be faster and stronger next season. I hope.
Lol Pobega played just 153 mins in the CL...big fucking deal!
Anyway, a smart person would've just cashed in for 15m last summer (strike whilst the irons hot) instead of giving him a full season to prove he's NOT Milan quality.
In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if RedBird decide to sell him this summer as he's on the fringes of the first team and would register a 100% capital gain. It's very tempting and then you'll see how they navigate around those stupid lists.
Even the biggest Pioli haters would probably agree that coming off scudetto Pioli probably deserved more say on at the type of players coming in.Yeah after the dirty laundry has been aired
A very confusing season is starting to make sense
As a pioneer of Pioliout I'm starting to have some sympathy if this was truly the case and BELIEVE ME, I really do HATE myself for it
they can double that amount and ill considerLooks like ManUtd and Chelsea offer 60m for Maignan.
And from what I read, is that Maignan is considering leaving
Interesting.
Quick question: do you think Ancelotti underachieved with the Milan he coached?
I have been reading your posts lately, and I’d just like to say…don’t worry. It will be alright.
man you're on a roll todayBut what about facebook groups? What are they saying?
Messias is probably gone but what a amazing story he has. Starting his career like a 24 years of age in Serie D and ending up winning scudetto at Milan and scoring against Atletico in UCL.

time to ship him somewhere elseBakayoko, wtf is he still doing in Milanotime to ship him somewhere else

Casadei is a great prospect. I would think about it if they add 50 millions.Mike Maignan is the best goalkeeper in the world.
He also has a slightly concerning recent injury history, and there is a chance that we may lose him for free at the end of his contract.
My question is - do we sell high now and reinvest those funds in the squad - or do we hold onto him?
Chelsea seems to be the interested party - which may open up a door to Casadei as well.
Interested to hear your thoughts on this, I have views either way.

Thuram is a must.
He is quality & for free.
Moncada probably wanted him & Ndicka but Maldini didnt.
Hopefully Moncada isnt too late.
Yes, he should have won more scudetti. We'd be at 24/25 now with the squads we had.Interesting.

No need to report it , it obvious.Suma says up until last summer the Milan purchases were made as a collective
Once Maldini got the autonomy he wanted he went at it alone which shows in the last market
Kinda gross that the club is shitting on Maldini but they clearly want a certain message out
Agree. By the sounds of Pioli had input before the last mercato. It turns out Gazidis was the glue holding it all togetherEven the biggest Pioli haters would probably agree that coming off scudetto Pioli probably deserved more say on at the type of players coming in.
Regardless of how good the players we got last summer ended up, I didn’t like how we kinda just snooped around for what was available. Maldini was a little Galliani esque in that regard. CDK or Botman? Enzo or Renato? Thiaw or Ndicka? CDK(again) vs Dybala? I know it was a limited budget but our targets were all over the place.
We used to be very good about saying “we want this type of player” and we would get that. Even if our first target wasn’t available, and hell even if the player we signed sucked(Ballo Toure is the clearest case of this). But you could see what the idea was.
So again, even though I think Maldini didn’t deserve to be fired after one bad season, I can see where the direction changed some. I expect the analytics dorks to get back to that OG direction we were staying in, and I expect the team to look more like Pioliball we knew before. Faster and more direct. If we can look like lockdown Milan again that would be amazing.
What are you on about ?Yeah Moncada is second coming of Jesus for finding players I could scout myself in my FM save.
