The greeting of #BrahimDiaz to #Milan :
"Dear Milan, today I have to say goodbye and thank you for everything we've experienced together. From the first moment I wore this shirt, I knew I was in a special place. My teammates. You have been like family to me "because we shared laughter, tears and success. You taught me the true meaning of effort and teamwork. Heartfelt thanks also to the coach, staff, doctors and people at the club.

And to you fans, what can I say!? You are the best. With your support and passion, you have pushed us through every game. Your chants and energy made every moment on the pitch unforgettable. I am truly grateful for all the love and encouragement you have shown me during my time here. I know that in both good and bad times you will continue to cheer and support this team.

This goodbye does not mean that I will forget you. I will always carry in my heart the memories of the moments we lived together, such as important goals, exciting victories and crazy celebrations. But also the difficult moments that made us stronger as a team. I greet you with nostalgia, but also with emotion for what is to come. Go Milan".

Brahim ❤️
wishing him all the best

Surely you can differantiate the load on knees between hard court and clay

Yes, clay courts are much easier on the knees. This is why he's been dominating there. As soon as he stepped on other courts, his body fell apart.

This is why I'm saying that Rafa will always be the king of clay, but that's about it.

This is my sentiment as well.

For me Nadal is #3 comfortably.

Between Federer and Djokovic. Djokovic has the better numbers unfortunately. But one can argue age played a part

Clay is probably the most physical demanding surface since it’s the slowest, that’s a fair argument. Toughest? No. There is a big difference between being physical demanding and toughest.
So the surface where the ball moves the slowest, you have to outrun, completely outplay, and can't rely solely on your serve/winners, you don't rate that at all?

It was fun discussing some Tennis guys. I don't usually take part in off-topic discussions, but tennis is my second favorite sport so cool to see people watch it here as well. Goat debate is like messi/Ronaldo etc, people will probably have their favorites based on certain metrics.

I'm OBVIOUSLY correct tho

Let me tell you something: the neighbour's daughter cut our daughter's hair. Only a good transfer can save my evening. Plus a bottle of wine...

I do but I also think serve and shotmaking skills are part of talent and that is relied more on grass or fast HCs.

In clay it’s mostly about your fitness level and FH. Serve is less relevant. Which is admirable in its own right but I also respect players who can serve really well, especially those that don’t really have the height advantage. Federer’s serve was ridiculous.

"the right person"
Our beloved club has been taken over by a bunch of charlatans! What a joke!

I nominate Clarence Seedorf. Highly intelligent, diplomatic, a simply brilliant communicator and speaks speaks many different languages and most importantly unemployed I think. Would be a good fit.

I would take Scammaca. New Managment will find worse player.

We are losing each player we want. On other hand It's good our managment is losing very fast. It is improvment previose one.
I would stay away from any Italian CF. Not even for free… but maybe thats just me

In my case, tennis was my favourite and most watched sport until Federer retired

I picked Federer over Milan without thinking twice

Milan made things easier by not playing CL since 2014 and entering the banter era not gonna lie.

Now though, I just watch the slams. The newer generation don’t excite me yet, even though I rate Carlitos. But yeah you could say I was more of a Federer fan than tennis fan.

I loved Brahim from the moment he joined. He played a big role, at times, in 3 very successful seasons… He helped us finish top 4 in his first when Hakan completely shat himself as usual when the pressure hit… He helped us through our first half of season injury crisis last year… he scored the winning goal against Tottenham and had a brilliant run against Napoli to help create a goal.

Good player that I am sad to see leave mostly as a person. Tried his best always.

Talks way too much and is a know-it-all. Too risky as he might drive some players crazy.
