I thought Bartesaghi looked really heavy on the ball and not ready but even he is ahead of Terraciano ability-wise.

I can't figure out how we scouted him and decided he could add value to the first team.

RLC not bad. It’s just that he does not get involved a lot in the game, does not really play-make or defend.
He super invlolved in passing and attacking space. He is just not overcomplicating things, appearing if another player needs an outlet and moving the ball on with a quick pass. One of those actions is not special but RLC provides them at a high frequency.
He is the perfect CAM for this team, especially with how Morata plays.

RLC at CAM is not what Fonsecaball needs. a silky player is needed. just promote already Liberali already.. or get samardzic

Saelemaekers on another level compared to the rest of the team. It would be a huge mistake to let him go, and especially if we swap him with Chiesa.

The rest of the team has been pretty average (at best). Indeed most of the team is second string, but wtf have they been doing for the last 3 weeks in training? There's nothing good about play, no solid game construction, nothing. The only times we've been dangerous is through Saelemakers.

Morata, Leao, Thiaw, Terraciano have been quite disappointing in this first half.

IMO, it's half to forget. It was a terrifyingly uninspiring performance taking into consideration the season starts in 4 days. No where near ready. I don't see any stamps of things being different from Pioli's time.

He is young, he is not great so far but it is wrong to treat him like a 24yo or so which many people seem to do. Same with Musah.

A loan would be good for him though.

we are fucked if adli & musah are our pivot alternatives
That's what Paulo is trying to tell Zlatan.
Let's see if he bites.

Leao pretty invisible first half.

Adli is playing that Reijnders playmaker role rn. I feel like his passes dont always have the right weight, hard on the receiver. Almost invisible in the defensive end.

Terraciano Adli Leao on the left side is suicide. RLC also doesnt typically drop down on the left. Major defensive hole.

Musah and Terraciano being the youngest milan players on the pitch is not surprising. Both have a lot to learn still.

I was hoping he would be more creative in attack, more influential across the match.

But he is having a good game and has nice skills here and there. Fonseca can ‘up’ his game a bit I think.

There is young and then there is lacking ability

He isn't that athletic, he lacks technical ability and he shies away from the ball.
With Musah you can clearly see his qualities even though he doesn't know how to use them to best effect yet.

For me Terraciano is in the Lazetic Devis pile - he was purchased mid season to add ability to the first team and it's been all wrong - that is squarely on whoever scouted him.

His main issue is that, he can tend to coast and other times he doesn't see the pass quick enough.

A focused and hungry Okafor is very dangerous. I hope he goes into this match and season with this mentality. He’s been too nonchalant for a bit.
