It’s looking like the Walker rumors were just his agents hyping him up to get a better deal in Saudi. They’re acting now like he’s an alternative to Rashford because they didn’t know we can only sign one Englishman.

Now that okafor has gone it seems likely we’re about to loan Rashford, otherwise it would be really weird to loan okafor at this stage.

Because that made no sense

Didn't realize that only league matters
But even there Vini mogs Leao for the most part, especially this season

As for your projections? Keep them to yourself, thank you very much

he might be a dud but I still wonder how Santi Gimenez would do here

seems like we’ve been interested but never advanced things

Gimenez, Lucca, anyone who can reliably put chances away would be a huge improvement
Lucca is like Giroud but more athletic. Amazing in the air

Milan, Rashford in a hurry: new contacts with Manchester United

The negotiations between Milan and Manchester United for Marcus Rashford are far from over. The English striker born in 1997 has been in the sights of the Rossoneri for several weeks now and after having expressed his approval of the move to the Rossoneri in recent days, now the two clubs have to meet to try to find a solution for the operation from an economic point of view. NEW CONTACTS TODAY - Today and in the next few hours, more detailed new contacts are expected between the Milan market managers, with Furlani and Moncada at the forefront, and the Manchester United executives. The aim is to discuss not only the transfer formula, with the Rossoneri wanting to establish a right of redemption today, but also the issue of Rashford's salary, with the Italian club wanting the Red Devlis to participate in the payment of a part of the current salary (which is 15.6 million pounds per year, over 18 million euros).

RASHFORD ENTHUSIASTIC, BUT IN A HURRY - Rashford has already confirmed to Milan that he would be enthusiastic about a move to Italy with the Rossoneri, but he is in a hurry to close. He would in fact like to resolve the issue related to his future within 2/3 days and for this reason he is not only considering the Milan proposal. In the background there is also Barcelona , who also moved forcefully with Manchester United over the weekend.

Milan tries to bring forward the Ricci deal to January

The fact that he has just extended his contract until June 30, 2028, as happened with Bremer first and Buongiorno later, does not mean that Ricci will definitely stay at Torino next season. In fact, quite the opposite. The 23-year-old midfielder will be sold because he is very tempted by the big jump to a big club. Half of Europe likes Samuele, his exponential growth has certainly not gone unnoticed. SUMMER AS A PROTAGONIST - From Inter to Milan, from Juventus to Napoli. Everyone wants Ricci , the playmaker of the Italian national team. Next summer will be Samuele's summer as a certain protagonist of the transfer market. Those who move first are the ones who enjoy it, as often happens in these circumstances. One club in particular has moved ahead in both discussions with the boy and with Torino: Sergio Conceição's Milan.

BACKSTAGE - There is already a market backstory about Ricci and Milan: in recent days, the Rossoneri management has tried to sound out Torino for a sale of the jewel already in this winter session. The response from the Granata club was dry and decisive: " No, thank you ". Milan is well ahead on Ricci for next season, an operation worth at least 30 million euros.

Personally I dont like his style and dont think he is that good but setting that aside his rumored price was higher than Zirkzee's release clause so only obvious why this management team wouldnt pursue.

So its:
21/22 - 27v21 (G/A) Vini
22/23 - 19 v 23 (G/A) Leao
23/24 - 20 v 18 (G/A) Vini
24/25 - 13 v 7 (G/A) (still going)

You cant say Vini is level in terms of G/A ..and that comes from him playing for arguibly the best team in the Spanish League in those years (with a way better squad than ours).
Also in this period ATM and Barca were worse than thia year and way worse than their pre lock down period.
Yes he won the CL but lets face it..Real and CL is a love story.

You can compare the two players all you want but at the end of the day, there’s a reason why Vini plays for Madrid and Rafa for Milan.

yeah I thought he would move for big money a while ago when he was more hyped but he hasn’t so I wonder what the price would actually be

might be telling that nobody has snapped him up yet though

Jovic was Origi-tier crap, that’s why he’s been shelved for a long time now

Origi - 36 Apps - 2 Goals ($3.1 M/year) 1 goal every 20 games
Jovic - 33 Aps - 9 Goals ($2.6 M/year) 1 goal every 3 games

too many great players to list but if pushed all time favorite player: Maldini
Milan in negotiations with Salzburg over a DM named Gourna. I watched him play. 21 yo. Would be vice Fofana.

Google him, that's how Moncada found him.

"Young cheap DM good at FM 2025" 🤣
Sadly or more to the point disturbingly your conclusion may not be far from the truth 😐

To be fair, most people wanted a different striker to Giroud, one that would allow the wingers to come into play and score more and would help with more flowing play and press better. We were also changing the coach.

Exactly this. Most of us would’ve played false cards to convince the management to spend over 50M, including commissions, on Zirkzee – a younger, arguably better version of Morata. But let’s be real, he’s still only an enabler, not a finisher.

Once it was clear that ship had sailed, there was a case to be made for bringing in either Morata or Abraham – but not both. The problem with signing both is that you end up with two strikers who are useful in late-game situations or when you’re the underdog, but neither offers what we truly lack: a pure poacher with presence in the box and killer instincts in front of goal. And no, Jovic was never going to be that guy if that was the plan.

Strikers like that cost money. But considering how long we’ve been kicking the can down the road to avoid spending on a proper CF, it’s been overdue for far too long.

First his obsession with Tomori now this Moncada pokemon
Losing faith fast on Conc...
Grande woke up on the wrong side of the bed again and came out swinging. :yikes:

Fik won us our last two trophies on the pitch. Plus we need him in the rotation.
Gabbia would do great alongside him, like they did when they won against Merda in the league this season. Thiaw did great alongside him when they played Real Madrid. I don't see why anyone hating on Fik. Not like he's the one that made us lose points under Conceicao.

This kid is a decent backup given he makes all the lists (Italian-born, Primavera, Club-trained/Italian Trained), so he won't be taking a spot if we need to bring in a Foreigner anyway. Don't see what there is to hate about him.

I honestly thought Abraham would do better, nothing special but at least take like a third of the chances he is getting. He has been woeful.

I don't mind Morata that much, just want him to spend more time advanced. If we can get a real striker and keep him as the alternate I'm ok with that.

Missing on Zirkzee (seeing that we hired Fonseca) was the blessing.

Remember how people here said that Giroud is shit because he is slow and doesn't help the team out?

Ironically, Morata is the exact opposite - runs a lot and helps the team out. :proud:
