too many great players to list but if pushed all time favorite player: Maldini
It's the usual suspect who played the Origi card here first, brother

Next on the merry go round: Maldini.

Lets Go GIF by The Fast Saga
I hated the thought of signing Origi, FBT, Dest as I have said many times Maldini and Massara made errors all directors do and have throughout the history of sporting ventures.

Moncada and others played their hand in those moves too so fixating the blame on one person entirely is not accurate or true on any level,

Which is why I have continually blamed the current management as a whole for the complete mess Milan currently finds itself in.

This outcome was always on the cards - multiple poor decisions and poor direction have Milan firmly in 9th place.

Trailing Bologna by 9 points. The algorithms have failed, the winter window to fix several mistakes has failed.

They have fucked it all up and definitely not in a positive way. And have learned nothing from their multiple errors.

The club is in the black with its spreadsheets and profit margins but are these more important, do they supersede or are they more exciting to fans in a sporting venture. If so it is a little strange don’t you think ?

We all want Milan to win so we are stuck in this journey together even if we disagree on how to get to where we all want Milan to be. What a journey it’s been.

Everybody looking forward to wednesday derby?
Oh hell yeah, if anything, we're gonna beat the shit out of Merda twice this coming month and lose to Bologna/Empoli in the final. No European football next season.

It's gonna be sooooo fun.

‘To achieve great success, you need reliable people. And with that, I seem to have explained the problem of Milan today.”

- Arrigo
And to get reliable people, you go cheap to prove to everyone you are indeed trying to win by becoming the middle man

He pussed out.
Definitely not Steve Rogers

(Just reading these as I was travelling)

You need structure and leadership to make certain things come naturally and everyone gets used to how things should be.

Now next penalty we will be back to everyone looking around and persons that shouldn't be taking on the responsibility thinking they should step forward or worse, simply not care.

Next season every aspect has to start from the ground up

Take out Theo for Baschirotto you goon
damn, you're right, how could I forget

we need to buy a literal farmer in preparation for when paratici arrives, causes a financial scandal, we get relegated to Serie F, then we're stuck tilling the mediocre lands of san donato for cash crops instead of building a world class stadium. baschirotto to pull a lucarelli, hell yeah.

Might as well let Gimenez take them until he starts making them.

Start preparing his confidence for next season :proud:

That goes without saying my friend. Maldini and Massara were far from perfect but it was a reckless, irresponsible and an idiotic act to sack them.

Milan’s progression as well as the temperament and direction of the club has steadily gone down hill from that very moment.

Even if some supporters refuse to acknowledge it. If they refuse what can we do ? Incoming lol’s on the way! 🙄
Agreed but maldini was flawless, massara could have done better.

Pulisic is too nice sometimes and needs to take more ownership of what he brings to the team. He should be taking every penalty, even if we're in garbage time. Our squad lacks ruthlessness. I think if more of our players show this on the pitch, the others will pick it up and show it, too.

Andre Galvao. He did MMA until Woodley did him dirty

Rodolfo was a monster, definitely juiced too.

There’s also…Gaby Garcia

You know how hard you'd nut when she squeezes your pelvis into oblivion? Prob wouldn't walk ever again but you'd be shooting diamonds.

I remember when she beat up some old Japanese pro wrestler.

Why doesn't Leao shoot penalty kicks? Or free kicks? He should have been whipped into doing that, training an extra hour on set pieces after we paid his hefty fine.
I see you are from the multiverse

Welcome but don't stay here long

That...was hard to watch.

But then again, there was always an element of circus with JMMA, even during its heydays in PRIDE

In a way that old Japanese wrestler was lucky it wasn't 1995 as it would have been a barbed wire landmine deathmatch. Japanese are nuts

Agreed. Sure, we can all now ask why Leao didn’t start. Why it was Felix instead. Why we keep shooting ourselves in the foot with weird selections and zero rhythm. But all of that is just detail.

The bigger issue is as you said: since Conceicao took over, we’ve been stuck in the exact same nightmare loop. We play what feels like the worst first half imaginable – every single week – and only show signs of life after the break. Always after two, three, four subs.

Sometimes it works. Como, Lecce. Sometimes it doesn’t. Napoli. But the pattern is always the same. Doesn’t matter who plays. Leao or not. Musah or not. Gabbia and Pavlovic, Tomori and Thiaw, Reijnders in the 10 or deeper, Tammy or Gimenez up front. It. Does. Not. Matter.

And that’s the most frustrating part. Because I actually like Conceicao. I like how he talks. I want him to succeed. But when I watch us play, I see a team that starts every match like a bunch of lost kids. Nervous, slow, passive. Against Inter, against Cagliari, against fucking anyone.

It’s always the same horror movie. No control, no bite, no urgency. Even worse than what we saw under Fonseca. Damn I'm actually missing him now.

And then suddenly – like a switch – we turn it on. In the second half, after we’re already chasing the game. Suddenly we press. Suddenly we run. Suddenly we create. So why can’t we do that from the first damn minute?

Why does Conceicao always need to make three or four subs before minute 50 – and yeah, that was the fourth game in a row now – just to get a reaction? What are they even doing all week in training? What exactly is being prepared?

I swear, this season is driving me insane. I’m tired of waiting for this team to wake up. I'm tired of asking the same questions every week. I'm tired of hoping the second half will save us.

This is not growing pains. This is a team without a soul for 45 minutes, week in, week out. And it's just not good enough.
I can't see how this is Conceicao's fault honestly. Yes, some of his starting choices are questionable, but we're talking about 1-2 players per game, not 9. The presence/absence of Musah/Felix is not the reason why we suck cock in defense and eat shit in offense until a few subs are done. And then once these subs are done (may not even include the questionable starters) we simply start playing football. Pressing starts working relatively fine, we stop conceding dumb mistakes and start creating a decent amount of chances. I have no explanation for it, but I don't think it is up to Conceicao. He has said numerous times that what we show on the field is not what they train at Milanello. And once some click happens (lucky goal or a sub) they switch their chips back to professional mode and we start playing football.
