Probably but apart from Leoni who i don't know him a lot but i was told he is very good, all the others suck. Specially Lucca and Piccoli who are the new Cutrone and Lapadula. We need good players regardless of their passport. Exactly three years ago at Sassuolo Calabria and Tonali were the only italians in the starting eleven and Calabria was the worst player of the eleven
Current crop of Italian footballers suck.
That's all there is to it.
Only 3 or 4 are actually world class, and they're already playing at the top clubs in Italy.
No way Milan can poach any of those.
The up and coming ones with potential like Udogi (CL next season), Retegui (CL next season), Bellanova (CL next season), Tonali (paid a kings ransom until 2028), probably don't want anything to do with Milan next season.
So you go for the next tier of players, like Ricci, Comuzzo, Rovella, Casadei, Lorenzo Luca, none of which are great, and all of which have had average to below average seasons. Young enough to take a punt on, but with stats that aren't even as good as Tijani at AZ Alkmar. Veratti did more than any of them in the season before he moved from Serie B to PSG.
Honestly it's majorly slim pickings if we want Italian "talent" at this day and age.
Better to just develop the likes of Camarda, Liberali, Bartesaghi, Torriani and Zeroni, and then bring in foreigners that fit the homegrown status like Bondo and Samardzic for next season and develop them in-house.
