It's difficult to find a really worthwhile RB, I've scrolled through transfermarkt lists and nothing seems impressive tbh.

I also understood why we signed Emerson Royale, he had a high value considering his age. Now it dropped after 1 season, and another problem is his high salary meaning it will be difficult to move him on. I think we will have to keep him and try to raise his value, hopefully Allegri can get something good out of him.

Or just fuck full backs and go 3 atb. The likes of Jimenez are better as wing backs anyway and Royal can play back up RCB in addition to back up wing back.

People need to get it out their heads that we are selling Reijnders by choice. When we have way more alternatives to making money. If he leaves, he's surely pushed for it. We could sell Mike and get Meret on free if we were desperate for cash.

For me, if you're asking for this kind of money (7-8M), you don't have to be only available, you have to be a true and reliable leader too. And availability isn’t leadership.

I believe Maignan has been a far stronger and better presence in the locker room than Theo. If young players take cues from our highest-paid names, I prefer them to look to someone like Mike – not to Theo and Leao, who openly committed mutiny during that cooling break incident, for example. Theo, in particular, crossed several lines this season.

Demanding a significant salary increase after such a season – on and off the pitch – raises serious questions.

If the club responds by rewarding that kind of behaviour, from throwing away a CL qualification to undermining the coach, it sets a dangerous precedent. It tells the rest of the squad that professionalism and accountability don’t matter. Only minutes do.
