I know people almost unanimously agree that Walker didn't work out. But he's heading to Everton now. Not sure if it'll be on a free.
Definitely would've liked to us to re sign him, but for less than the option. Especially if he's gone to Everton on free.
I suspect we will be getting a CB like Gila, rather than someone experienced, so it would've been nice to have one veteran back there and if his problems at home are fixed, he'd definitely be good enough.
Azpilicueta turns 36 in August and will be a free agent. Can't think of a veteran I'd like to bring in tbh.

It's crazy, I just looked at players over 35 in defence. Historically, there's always been some top top defenders at this age. Right now, there really is none. Acerbi, Darmian and Witsel maybe. Is it all about speed these days? You'd think they should be able to maintain their level at that age more than ever.
Do we think Koulibaly at 33 would leave Al Hilal? the fucker is on 34 mil a year. 1 year left on his contract.
Fabian Schar? Could be a cheap pick up with experience.
No other experienced CB jumps out as a leader type signing.

With a proper DM, Fofana can be league's Most Improved Player next season. He showed glimpses of his passing range and progressive carries, even made some brilliant assists, but he really struggled to anchor a midfield. One of the reasons why we were leaking so much goal.

If Allegri is confident in bringing the best of Theo and Leao against them I’d rather keep both then sell them this year on a discount. If Theo has a good season his value will be over 50 once again, problem is his contract.

Not a fraud . But he has an unhealthy influence over the players . That should be obvious for their president . That is why I gave that example . It is important to have a clearance who is who and where are the limits of his working area . That is why in my opinion he and Boban did not stay longer here . Gazidis at that time was running the show so each have a strictly specific duties . You like it you stay .
