But for our management it doesn't.

Since when has this current management went ahead with a player on his last year, on high wages, just to satisfy a coach?

Allegri has Gimenez for a 9, it's not like he doesn't have alternatives to a vlahovic profile.

The 'allegri wants him, juve doesnt' narrative might work for Italian journos but it doesn't for Redbird philosophy. Unless vlahovic reduced his wages significantly or a very favorable deal swings in the managements way.

Maybe things are changing.

Anyway, rumors are saying we want him because of Allegri. Tare is going to try, with a lower wage probably. If we can get him to agree is a different thing.

Very few people in the world are betting that Theo will regain his form of three seasons ago.
The only two clubs that are/were seriously in for him are not prestigious ones.
If he remains and continues poorly then what?

You keep talking about a top LB in the world when any competent one will outperform the current version of Theo. Your strategy for him is based on pure hopium and doesn't take into account any of the negative ramifications of him staying as a starter in this group.
100%
I feel the same about MM.
Restarting is better than betting on MM regaining form.
Maybe the club feel the new GK will do the trick.

Feels like Matri/Tevez repeat

That being said, I dont think we can entice Osimhen/Sesko/Gyokeres to come here without CL football, so we have to settle for “B” grade players this summer

Unless they’re some childhood Milanista who would join the club anyway

You can find a striker.. go for JD or whoever.. just if juve got a big fucking problem don’t go fucking solve it for them

It is quite telling that the only offers we received for Theo is from Como, Atletico Madrid, and Al Hilal. Como had an offer in the winter, but Theo declined this, he thought he is above this level. Now in the summer, Como didn't enter the race back.

The Atletico rumours I think were mostly a work done by Theo's agent. Theo is Atletico homegrown, so for them, he is more valuable than to any other teams, due to squad lists. Even with all this, they didn't bid 1 penny over 20 mil. The other offer is Saudi.

Last year, Theo had interest from Bayern and Real. From top teams. With the Davies renewal, it makes sense why Bayern withdrew. But what about Real? Their starting left-back last season was Fran Garcia, and now they are actively searching for a new starter. But when questions were asked, they completely denied and rejected any links to Theo. Why? What happened?

Theo is a rotten apple, and Real knows this. They don't want someone like him in their locker room. And this is how we should do it as well. Getting rid of the cancerous element from our squad.

Theo was never a smart player. He was always a monster, a physycal machine, with top tier workrate, running up and down the field. He ran his ass off tirelessly in every game. But what happens when this disappers? You get Theo from last year. His first touch, crossing, tackling, shooting is not even a slightly worse than in the form of his life. But he just doesn't put any effort on the pitch now. He is seemingly disinterested. He is an arrogant player, who thinks he is above Milan. He feels like he did us a favour when he accepted our 4mil net salary contract extension. And with his completely wrong head, he will never return to his top form.

The question is if we have 30 mil, who is better than Theo? Honestly? Even most Serie A leftbacks would overperform him. 7 goal contributions is fine, but lets see the other side of the coin: how many points we lost due to him? On top of my head, I can count the following games: Parma, Fiorentina, Cagliari, Bologna, Lazio, Feyenoord.

I think a defensive left-back would have given us more points last season, than the offensive superstar Theo. We really needed his offensive contributions in the Venezia (4-0, 1 goal), Udinese (4-0, 1 goal), Lecce (3-0, 1 goal 1 assist) games.

Basicly the only game Theo won us with his offensive talent was that 2-1 comeback win versus Como. I would trade that win any time with a left back, who is solid defensively, and we don't loose 14 points in Serie A, and our CL campaign because of him. Loosing 14 points in a season because of 1 player is an achievement in itself.

It is not easy to pick in Serie A, because most teams play 3 atb. But from teams in top10, who are playing with a proper leftback, there are Oliveira, Tavares, Juan MIranda, Cambiasso, and Alberto Moreno outside of Theo. Seriously I would exchange Theo with any of them, except for Moreno.

I absolutely REFUSE to believe that after Moncada landed Theo, Kerkez and Jiminez, that Royal was anything other than a Zlatan signing.

There is NO chance Moncada wanted Royal. None. Impossible. Does not at all fit his MO.
Mongacada lives in 2020-21-22. Royal was rated back then. Better upgrade his Football Manager

Moncada was a long time admirer of Emerson Royal and pushed for his signing.

No chance whatsoever.
As a working part of our mgmt structure, he 100000% would not ever have said anything publicly suggesting he was opposed to the move (that'd be literaly suicide)... But No way this was his call. Royal is not his guy

From Vlahovic's perspective, why would he:

1) go from a €11m-€12m salary to a €5-6m salary?
2) sign for a manager, whose, in all likelihood, style of play he doesn't even like?

I remember the last time Juventus were desperate to offload their number 9 with a chunky salary to us - this time, the conditions are different and any deal on both player and club's side will be considerably more difficult to work out.

Only argument in favour that could rationalize this deal is that this is Zlatan's bet and probably the first and last time Zlatan gets to overrule Tare, Furlani and Moncada on the transfer market.

For point 1, because he's going to end up on that salary regardless, unless he goes to Saudi. He's not good enough for ANYONE to pay him anything close to that. It's a World Cup year too and he has Milan wanting him...

Point 2, agree... I legitimately thought he and allegri didn't jive... But when you have top sources making the link, it's odd... Their relationship must be way better than we were lead to believe

Him, it's possible... We needed some Italians and he was actually pretty decent w his old club.
But Royal, 0%
According to Calciomercato.com, contacts between Milan and Tottenham for Emerson Royal have not stopped and now the London club are internally evaluating the possibility of lowering their €20m demands.

It is not yet a clear opening but there is more optimism, and the will of the right-back is clear: he wants to move to Milan, with whom he has a verbal agreement over personal terms. At the beginning of next week Geoffrey Moncada will try to seal the arrival of ‘one of his real obsessions’.

The salary gap for one year would be bridgeable with a sign on bonus. I don't think he gets another 11-12m contract in Europe.

BREAKING- Theo Hernandez confirmed his openness to Al Hilal in direct contact with Milan this morning. Now his agent is in constant contact with the Italian intermediary for all the contractual terms, the clauses. Hot negotiation. On @cmdotcom

I think Vlahovic in means Gimenez out.

Cant see us having 2 super expensive strikers at the same time when we only have Serie A

Vlahovic has monstrous wages he’s not cheap by any means

Personally I’d rather go with Gimenez unless he has some off field issues we don’t know about

Super expensive? Depending on the deal, having Vlahovic shouldn't cost us much more than Abraham+Jovic.

I think Gimenez stays and that we're going forward with him and Vlahovic as main strike force.
