Nkunku is not a CF, even less than Rafa. He's much more a Puli-clone. Don't know why Allegri starts Leao and Nkunku but puts Nkunku in the CF role and switches Leao only into the CF role once Pulisic enters. Complete and stupid waste of talent. That's on Allegri 100%.

Ricci is nowhere near Rabiot, but he can still grow and he will grow.

Estupinan... Yeah he's been incredibly disappointing so far.
Well if you have to pick who is more comfy Leao or Nkunku, you pick Leao everytime.

Fofana is a runner. nothing more. its why he gets to play.

ricci is the real disappointment tbh. rabiot is our true mvp.
I think Rabiot and Pulisic are our best and most important players along with Modric.

Pulisic missed a great chance today, probably the best chance we had to win; however, he got into that fucking position AND then created our other best chance to win.

Saelemaekers is more interested in being a highlight reel than winning the match. I’m tired man.
We need to put him in serious concurrence, it will just be beneficial for us.

That’s still not good enough

If we can’t negotiate a straightforward run of games without Rabiot then it means we aren’t a serious contender.

We have wasted too many chances to solidify our position. You can’t just say we are missing Rabiot. We’ll probably miss him again at some point this season.
Well if we do. We fucked. That’s why he is key.

Allegri needs to yell at the midfield for letting Parma just walk into our box.

Rabiot is badly missed. These midfielders acting like its a Sunday game and they can cherry pick without consequences.

We don’t. But injuries killed us. Jashari and Rabiot return. We have too many players in there. Unfortunately the ones are injured are the ones who we need.
Yea Nha we do need one more mid
A creative mid

Modric is like 60 years old and it showed today

Sale was the best player & the worst player in the same game.
Easily mvp if he scored that goal.
Another good game by Leao.
Fofana again the worst player.
Estu should be benched.
Let him earn his spot.

We did enough up front to win this but we shouldn’t be giving away this many chances to Parma. That spell where it looked certain the were going to score before they got the second looked straight out of last season. We had a mental collapse for about 15 minutes.

I really miss Rabiot. Modric is incredible but he can’t do everything by himself. Jashari needs to force Fofana out.

Estupinian looked like his first couple of games before Rabiot improved him by being next to him.

Honestly I thought we did ok besides that terrible spell on the second half. Conceded a disappointing goal before halftime, then failed to get the third. That’s unfortunate but we did enough up front for a win. We collapsed mentally and conceded after non stop pressure which we failed to subdue. That was a big problem and we can’t do that, especially against teams like Parma.

Positives are that Rabiot is finally coming back, Jashari will start playing, and Leao + Pulisic up front looks deadly. Allegri also started taking risk with his subs. You can’t blame this on Allegri.

Again we slowed down and underestimated an opponent we thought we were too good for. This is going to be the reason we fail to win the title if we don’t win it. Not the big games, these games right here.
This is serie a
No fucking easy games

Toughest league in the world and for good reason.

It is inexcusable

This was somehow worse than Pisa

We will be fighting for CL spots. There is enough of a sample size now to judge

We don’t have the maturity to fight for the title and we don’t have the players to compensate for key injuries
If Rabiot is healthy, I think we can push for the Scudetto--and quite frankly, if we don't, that is indefensible. None of the contenders for the title look insane or impressive. We should be fighting for the title, especially as we have no Europe.

The issue is that our left side is such a problem when Rabiot is not there to babysit them. Our inability to hold onto possession is a huge issue--we have to hope that Jashari can contribute to us soon.

I don't think it's about maturity, it's about being forced to use players in the midfield who can't pass consistently, and on top of that our CBs are tasked with more passing and yet we're relying on poor passers to play in those positions (whilst selling CBs who are actually really good at passing) and with fullbacks who don't retain possession well (Sales does, Bart is young--otherwise, what are we doing? Emerson? Athekame? Pervis? Terracciano?)--it's a mess.

The sad fact is that we are reliant on Rabiot being there to help out Modric. They hold this team together, particularly the parts that linger from our previous regime's piss-poor planning.

I'm not ready to give up on the Scudetto, nor should this team be let off the hook from those expectations. Even if we wanted them to be exempt from them, they won't, because of Napoli last year, they're saddled with those expectations.

While I'm complaining about everything, reminder that we are having to play Fofana in midfield because management refused to pay money for Xhaka, who is now leading Sunderland to fucking 4th place in the Premier League!

As crap as the performance has been, Pulisic should have won it. Should have won us the Juve game too.
All forwards suck, good player nothing special, Nkunku.... Why we always listen carefully to Moncada it, the former Chelsea man isn't the offensive player he was, had spent the last 2 years at the bench.

Rabiot will be so key for us this season. I think I’ve seen enough to conclude that Leao and Pulisic will be good duo. We will create chances. The interpassing between the 2 created a lot.

Rabiot will be the key to that left side. Pervis is done for in my eyes. He simply to relaxed and always behind on play on everything.

Leao and Puli are fine. Perfectly fine. I'm not worried one bit about that partnership.

Nkunku tho can't be a CF. I don't know why Allegri keeps insisting on that. Especially in his system where the CF plays most of the times with his back to the goal and rarely gets a ball. That's so anti-Nkunku man. Let him do the Pulisic when Pulisic isn't fit. Leao is so much better as CF than Nkunku.

I mean as soon as Puli enters the pitch he switches them and boom we can't even stop creating those chances... Fuck me.

Estupinan - weak mentality and weak physically, not able to build up play. Only backup material.

Saelemaekers - shine at the beginning but then fade off and rusty, too indirect most of the time with his tricky skills.

Leao - tried for some build up play but also playing indirect. There is an opportunity on left while he had chance why he cut back to middle to pass while the center is crowded. He should have fucking shoot!!!

Nukunku - almost disappear except that shot. Dont even want to comment

Modric - apparently tired and causing more mistakes than usual. Still quality but not his best game.

Fofana - as usual, piece of shit. Dont want to even comment

Ricci - almost disappeared too, being eaten alive with Parma midfield.

Pavlovic - normal performance, not much shining moment

Gabbia - should have mark the Parma side better while seeing the player cutting in he should have done something in his position

De Winter - sorry to say he is garbage being RCB. His moving forward are all useless and without capability of build up and crossing to create opportunity. Also look shaky quite a few times.

Problem was both Ricci and Fofana were inefficient in the second half. I hardly heard their names at all until Ricci got subbed off and Fofana fucked up some attacks in the last 3 minutes of stoppage time.

this is the result of the mentality our coach is instilling in the squad. we are playing not to lose, not to win. winning is a bonus, but objective number one is not to lose (or concede goals).

when u play 541 against a relegation battling team while winning 2-1 you are projecting your cowardice into your players. when you shout at them to stay back when they try to score goals, you destroy their attacking mentality.

that second half was a very very disappointing performance again, 5th or 6th game in a row like this. bipolar attitude from last season has been back for a few weeks now..

My prediction was that we’ll finish 3rd but I think that was a bit too optimistic. Unfortunately.
Not fair, as I think Jashari could do the Rabiot role really well. They were both injured at the same time. Can’t do anything about that.

Gimenez's only contribution this season - busting a teammate's leg.

Not competing seriously for the Scudetto is a failure not just because of Napoli but also because the competition isn’t that formidable this year.

Rabiot or no Rabiot, this team is a scrappy 75 points at best team. I wanted to wait to see but Cremonese and Pisa weren’t aberrations. They’ll happen over and over again.

Yeah but I don't think Leao is that uncomfortable at CF. He's good. He'll grow. The little seen tonight with Puli was exactly what I've been saying since weeks – they will be devastating together. If we can't have both on the pitch, try to replicate it with different players like for example Nkunku behind Leao, not the other way around :(
