Because of fucking Gerry & Ibra.Paratici transforming the squad. Why can't we get SD lile that?

How his hair flowed was perfectly in sync with trajectory of the ball enroute to a perfect pass or a free kick into whichever pixel of the net he wanted to touch.
To be honest I don't like them both, but choosing one over the other my choice lean on Mancini, the way he likes , trusts and manages the youngster in addition to being able to win the Euro.Of the two candidates for the coaching job I would choose Mancini over Conte because tired of the 3 at the back formation, Palestra ideal at RB while Di Marco has to adjust at LB. We have an upcoming star in Anahor that can fill that position.
I also believe that Conte will utilize most of the old players that have failed to qualify while Mancini is more likely to employ the younger ones. A CB duo of Scalvini-Calafiori would be super, forget Bastoni. I would even start Carnesecchi over Dollar because he's less prone to mistakes. Pio Esposito at striker while adding someone like Pisilli in midfield along Tonali and Barella.
I think he has the power to hire a coach and run the day to day operations like setting schedules, training, etc. Malago' is mostly known for being the president of CONI (Italian National Olympic Committee}, and praised for the Winter Olympics success.I read that this role is a new one, created by Malago,@pippofan could you confirm this? and what is his range of power decisions making with the clubs ?
You didnt take the hint?!So nobody then, or just being controversial...
You're usually a pretty straight shooter, usually, in between being contrarian... Not backing up your claim is a bit of a cop out no.
Reminds me a friend of mine from childhood who was called: Marko van Basten + Last name. Who the fuck does that?View attachment 62436

Difficult for nostalgia merchants. Bappe clears him. Already has the world cup.and goals. Sure skills are nice. But Kyllian has done it in all the comps of the game. People act like winning the world cup at 19 was nothing. Ripping liga apart despite playing in a team thats in turmoil. Never goes missing.

Yeah but does Paolo Maldini as TD can impose a new rules for the homegrown players and Italian?I think he has the power to hire a coach and run the day to day operations like setting schedules, training, etc. Malago' is mostly known for being the president of CONI (Italian National Olympic Committee}, and praised for the Winter Olympics success.
Old at 67, but a better choice than Abete, 75 who had held the title once before. Malago` will probably delegate the power to initiate reforms to Maldini and that is why ADL supported him. He's been raging for years about the state of football in Italy.
It's a clear bias against Italians and I don't understand the reason, especially since we have a history of having some of the greatest Italians ever with a solid presence in the Italian National team when it was successfull. If its up to me I will add 2 more for country trained and 2 more for homegrown player being jealous when I see Atalanta attracting best Italians youngsters Scalvini-Palestra, even recently a promising CB who played some matches at 16yo in Serie D and a forward who scored 21goals with EMPOLI primavera, when I saw this what the fuck our youth department was doing, even the young winger of Torino would have been more useful than Athekame and the potential new signings in the flank like Doue.
Surprised he is not in jail yetAlex Jimenez is back to Seria A with Fiorentina
I didn't think about that, thought it was a UEFA rule for all of Europe, but I would love if he did that.Yeah but does Paolo Maldini as TD can impose a new rules for the homegrown players and Italian?
From what I've read, yes. Malagò appears to have created (or at least substantially redesigned) the role specifically as part of the FIGC rebuild, combining Technical Director and Club Italia President into a position that didn't really exist in this form before. Maldini's remit seems to extend across the entire national-team structure and includes a major voice in choosing the CT. As for the clubs, I don't think he has authority over them, but rather a coordination/liaison role between the FIGC, the clubs, and the national teams.I read that this role is a new one, created by Malago,@pippofan could you confirm this? and what is his range of power decisions making with the clubs ?
all the signings have been pretty much out of the blue and completed soonWas wondering why I kept seeing links to a right wing-back ... but then it makes sense that Amorim would probably like Saele on the left.
Regardless if it's a left-sided or right-sided wing-back, I'd really like to see a sizeable investment in that position.

99% of your post has became unreadable.
Poor gullible lamb like our greatest left backIf halaand was born in Finland it would have been about Finnish systemBut if you remove the generational talent they would be already home, if they even made the tournament and would anyone care?
The appointment of Maldini isn't the interesting part. The real question is whether Malagò is finally trying to create a proper football structure above the CT. If Maldini genuinely acts as the link between the FIGC, the clubs and the entire youth pathway, that could be more important than whoever ends up on the bench. Italy's problem has looked structural for years, not simply a coaching problem.I think he has the power to hire a coach and run the day to day operations like setting schedules, training, etc. Malago' is mostly known for being the president of CONI (Italian National Olympic Committee}, and praised for the Winter Olympics success.
