I think that’s fair. I’d accept that too. Leao has simply fallen out of step with the times. He’s 27 and still doesn’t know whether he wants to be a professional footballer or a rapper.

And he’s not gonna press period so Amorim just isn’t gonna work with him. He’s already shown at United he will value that over how good you are on the ball. Amorim is going to play Pulisic over him, and Nkunku plus new lefty guy if they sign one will also be above him. If Milan starts the season slow, which may be likely given how different the new style of play is, if we’re not playing well early on a lot of casual fans are gonna start calling for Leao to play more. That’s gonna make Amorims job harder. If he doesn’t want him just get rid of him.

All true. However 35m is peanuts at this time.
Clubs ask for more than this for absolute trash players. I would rather lose him for free than this insult of a price.
If he can't find motivation here it is best for both to part ways, but this guy still can do like 15 GA per season in Serie a.
