too many great players to list but if pushed all time favorite player: Maldini
At the very least players are being moved. It’s just a shame there is no movement with RLC and Chuk.

Cant blame those italian youngsters, they get more chances abroad than in their own country. Its probably a good thing for the Italian national team.
Shen some members I forgot their names, they said yeah your youngsters should be loan out ? then their playing time will be affected to Musah-Gimenez-Estu-RLC-Nkunku-Rlc, there are 2 differents type of MC:

1-Starrter at 17-18yo like Bellingham
2-Starter at 20-22 yo, because when they were 17-20yo they played as substitute, then by time goes on, increased they increased their minutes played and subsequently improved.

I was talking about his passing ability there mainly, pressing and also individualism are fair points. (and even individualistic point for now needs to keep in mind that Amorims approach so far isn´t exactly tiki taka (and can even look quite kick and rush like in parts)). Pressing wise he has showed more enthusiasm is pre season, but of course he is no pressing machine.
Leao is in my opinion a horrible possession player, for many reasons.
His technique is average, his first touch unreliable at best, his decision making possibly in the bottom 10th percentile on the team. He lacks focus when he’s not able to push the ball into space behind the defenders.

When playing possession football, the ball is supposed to do the work, and not by being carried. It also requires a tactical understanding of when to be where on the field to be able to read of eachother.

The pressing part for Leao, out of possession, is.. well.. the worst kept secret in calcio.

Good decision. Amorim wants a more attacking RWB, this is why the fixation on Chuk. To be honest, I see Athekame as a misfit - to me he is a traditional RB. Tare bought him for a 4-3-3, fooled by Allegri, only to be a misfit in a 3-5-2.

First outgoing done, in August 9th. Only 12 more players to go.
I see him similarly but hope he returns more ready, even transformed into a full fledged wingback if possible.

Italy is the only country in the major championships still playing 3-5-2 and guess what? They play like turtles and have not won anything in Europe for many years.

What are they considering? Not to change anything as usual. Why change a losing team? 🤨

At the same time Milan decided to hire the least inspired, least charismatic coach in Europe Amorim. He was coming out of a depression in Manchester and the managers said to themselves can we recruit a coach even more ridiculous than Allegri with a slow game as well? Bravo, you have succeeded, Milanese leaders.

But it's not over, to establish their losing mentality they said to themselves what if we overpaid a replacement striker in Europe to unlock our transfer window? Bingo here is Gonzalo 😊 80 million we can buy the future Bondo behind and keep Musah :proud:

But as Amorim is a genius of idiocy he said to himself to make our game even more ridiculous than in Manchester I'm going to look for the slowest, least technical midfielder that no one cares about even Marseille a club in crisis Hojberg the tractor 🚜

We also see that Amorim continues to want players that no one knows except him who play in wooden teams 😏

But where Amorim is very strong. He said to himself, “Is there still a promising young player who is progressing quickly and useful in this team that I can get rid of?” And he found this genius. "Ah yes let's sell Athekame he plays well and is progressing in a crucial position and let's leave Chukuweze who is not suitable for this position" 😮

The season promises to be exciting, everything is going well. Let's continue with the 3-4-2-1 let's not change our football traditions and slow and laughable by trying to play dynamically in 4-3-3 like in the Premier League we risk winning matches and entertaining the supporters. Then what again? Do you want Wirtz? Not slow enough for our 90s football Hojberg the grandfather will do.

Signed the best championship in the world :proud:
Agreew yeah Italy lost UCL-EL-CL finals , but managed to win 1 CL and 1 EL.

Great interview by Maldini. He explains himself very well, as usual.

But he still should have stayed and fought his ideas through.

He is a stubborn alpha male.

That means next season, he is gonna return 😑
That's the least of our problems.
We should focus on now.
And right now we have Salaemakers Musah and Chukwueze for this spot. I hope we sell the last. Dude can't defend at all. At least the first two can do it if instructed properly.

FOUR EXTRA DAYS OFF FOR MAIGNAN AND RABIOT!

The two players, in agreement with the club, will return to training on August 16 -exactly one week before Torino-Milan.

For comparison, Lautaro Martínez -who was eliminated in the Club World Cup final- returned to Inter’s training ground today.

Obviously, there are a few weeks left and many moves can happen; however, it just seems like another season of trying to jam a bunch of square pegs into a round hole. This lame ass 3421 would be one thing if we had the players to run it but we don’t.

I’m sooooooooooooooo weary of a manager that needs all the right players to run his system. The better managers can adapt, Amorim has us trying to play Chuk and Musah as RWBs.

Fucking kill me.

Leao is a lot but definitely not average in terms of technique. Decision making, he has ideas on the ball and sometimes they are bad but he is not generally bad at making decisions imo.

Tactically Leao looked pretty at home during pre season, he seems to gel relatively well with Amorims set up. We had some players stepping on each others feet (jashari had 1-2 moments like that) still and fuchking up the positioning, but that wasn´t Leao as far as I can remember. Pavlovic for example also struggles much more with not being allowed to carry the ball that much.

But of course if we go prime Barca level of possession play, surely you don´t pick Rafa for that. But Amorim isn't that extreme by far.

Has he tried Musah at RWB even once this preseason?

Good for Rabiot imo, he needs it. I would have like to see the now higher line getting a game with a sweeper keeper like Mike before the season starts.

I guess we don’t agree about Leao then.

I do agree about Pavlovic though and he should be moved out if an adequate offer arrives.

Porto, agreement in principle with Gimenez: intermediaries at work with @acmilan to try to close the deal. The Rossoneri are asking for an obligation to buy.

Several "sources" stating that...

AC Milan already have an agreement with Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg

Milan’s management is waiting to sell surplus players in the squad before attempting to proceed with Marseille, who have the urgency to sell.

#opportunity?
