No one other than Milan is stupid enough to pay actual money for this guy, especially after he broke his ankle this summer following a season in which he broke a teammate’s leg and more importantly scored 0 goals.

Who will be our backup striker if Gimenez leaves? We’ll be left with only Ramos up front.

Not to worry, surely everyone is aware that he'll somehow score 27 goals and they'll flip him for 50 in two years.

"Santiago Gimenez" doing good in Porto seems to be given

Being accused of being old just because he is ugly.

It’s like when someone farts in a crowd and every one looks at the ugly person,

What an injustice to the uglies.

The Mora kid that Roma are looking to buy. Why don’t we just swap him with Gimenez? Why loan plus option?

He is not ugly. Just looks way older.

I’ve been drooling over Kone since 2022 so I strongly disagree
And me over Khepran. Both were around the same price

Zero excuses to go and get fufuna when I mentioned Khepran and Kone

We really don't have success with >25m striker purchases do we

Pew pew, Yoga teacher Chihuahua, Nkunku, Andre Silva. Kalinic was apparently 25m, lol. Mirabelli did all the cocaine possible in Milano.

Should only buy if he was a prior fisherman or goes livid after scoring goals

For selecting a coach who is so stubbornly committed to a system wholly dependent on wingbacks, our approach to recruiting them is mystifying.

It's weird seeing Amorim want to salvage Musah, and unless you'd want to put in the major work to get him to play as a CM properly, I'd imagine trying him at wingback would be the easiest thing to do. Try it, at least. If you're going to try unconventional picks, like Chuk, why not try Chuk at LWB so that he doesn't have to constantly cut to his left, like at Fulham?

Why haven't we been doing work on wingbacks in the transfer market? Okay, Redbird move in silence (supposedly), we don't know anything, great. The season is starting soon and we don't really have wingbacks, and when that's our biggest issue... going back to last year.

Links with Zalewski? Nice. From what I've seen of the kid, he's been good, especially at Roma, but who knows?

Otherwise, it looks like we're going to be leaning into the whole asymmetrical 3421, where our LWB sits back more and the RWB is more advanced, while the LAM is more of a LW and the RAM is more of a true AM or SS.

There is still a gap between our CM unit and our attacking line, and that will be exploited, and has been during preseason.

Could also be that Musah is intentionally kept as an allrounder type player. Might have been like "we keep one low value allrounder, take your pick between Musah and Terraciano "(who can play WB and DM as well) . Both of them would probably start in a lot of EL teams.

Porto want loan + option? Lol these fukers rake it in on transfers and sell for enormous amounts. But when they have to buy, they all of a sudden become poor.

Makes sense sine Gimenez is garbage and hurt. Maybe put in conditions for the option to be made permanent.

They have the upperhand because we probably want to get rid of him more than they need him.

Also, his injuries and recent form don’t really do us a favour. I would be smart and set the lower buyout amount but include higher percentage of next sale, as it is more than probable they will make him work and sell for more money in year or two.

Another player surveyed by @acmilan in case of an exit on the left is Nicola #Zalewski from @Atalanta_BC.
With the formation change made by #Sarri, he's no longer central to the Bergamo project.
Among the many teams that have shown interest in him are also the Rossoneri

@MilanVibesIT

Among all Atalanta players we are interested in this 😆

The problem is, we continue to shove young talent away in favor of mediocre veterans that are highly limited.

A player like Cisse should in theory be able to serve as a top backup, and see significant minutes in this system. Think of who will be getting minutes instead- there is no player who will obviously be better than him. There is also only an extremely small chance any of those players exceed expectations, they are known qualities, and their upside is small.

Playing Cisse on the other hand provides upside- he does actually have the chance to significantly exceed expectations and to grow into a player that can elevate the team. Sure there are likely to be bumps and bruises along the way, but I’d rather see them come from a talented young player instead of a 30 year old who offers very little.

There is a reason that Liberali decided to reject us for Como’s project…

With this all being said, the one saving grace here is that I trust Abate a great deal, and playing for him is a positive imo
Completely agree

We got Leão because 1 we gave him a chance and 2 he had to be better than Rebic

I am completely against losing Cisse. It's as if fucking nobody learned anything from the failure of the Carmarda to Lecce loan.

This club has 0 direction. Just a bunch of shit that looks hopeful on the surface

too many great players to list but if pushed all time favorite player: Maldini

Indeed the same issues persist under RedBird.
Between the coach hires, squad construction the lack of focus on ditching ineffective players and upgrading them for a coach who seems fixated in playing in a particular way.

There are too many gaps, low quality players and tactical nightmares. Chuk will not deliver it really doesn’t matter where he is played. Musah the same and there are so many more. The squad construction has been appallingly poor.

Milan’s season starts soon and they do not look ready. I get the sense it is going to be a long season! Ramos and Gila could prove to be good signings let’s hope they do! this season needed clear thinking, planning and defined objectives.

Not a few shiny distractions when there are so many issues to address. There is no hiding for anyone if this all goes wrong 😑

Molto assymetric.
Reading this word immediately brought me back to when we signed Fatih Terim and how a bunch of Galatasaray fans explained Terim's tactics and structure. We then got Umit fucking Davala to bring this assymetricity to life. Great times.
