I don't see how 'Amorim getting rid of fodders' (he didn't btw, he just 'assessed' them) serves as any merit/hopium for him.
Every coach we had in the last decade 'got rid of fodders', and management accumulated new ones.
CDK, Okafor, Hernandez, Adli, all were let go since they were unfit to wear the shirt.

You know who managed to deal with fodders and still win? Padre.
Guy took a squad of Bennacer, Kjaer, Fik, Calabria, Messias, and a 40-year-old Ibra and won a Scudetto. Hell, reached new heights every season thereafter, getting nothing he wanted in the transfer market.
Only in his last contract season did he have any involvement in the transfer market iirc, under Redbird (and even that was probably for show).

Amorim having the same 'eye test' as a regular commoder in RnB should be worrying, not hopeful. Seeing that Fof, Estupid, and Terraciano are grade z footballers could be accomplished by Twitter highlights. Let's see how he's working with the given situation, and what he does with it.
Y’all gotta start being more serious please

100% but let me give a counter argument in a devil’s argument perspective

I’m officially coining it the RnB commode ‘diavolo’ argument

while I don’t disagree at all with what you’re saying, consider these points

milan historically has a track record of holding on to players past their peak market value for various reasons including the player doesn’t want to leave (missed out on 91M from city with kaka) ti situations.. some players just like the healthy salary they’ve been getting and tell Milan they want to stay and benefit from that etc etc

but when Milan do sell at a higher dollar amount… think the tijani’s and tonali‘s of the world, theres incredible backlash on the forum

the argument for mike to have been sold at the peak of his value or at least at a higher amount than what Milan can grab now is also made a bit more complicated with hindsight. His behavior this week makes it easier to say that we should have done something in the past

I think it’s a bit more complicated than that

selling france‘a starting GK that is known worldwide for flashes of incredible skill in a management environment that values the brand value of a player is really unlikely

then you get the overwhelming RnB criticism of Milan being a selling club if we did do that

I think it’s in group bias where we think Milan is the worst at most things and tremendously worse than every other clin out there.

we aren’t and Milan have made some decent sell at the right time moves… thiaw is another good return that isn’t talked about enough

in the moment, without current information about Mike being an idiot, I don’t think we ever would have celebrated Mike being sold a year or two ago
Mike getting sold 3 years ago when he practiced Karate at home and injured himself while being consistently injured in general should've been enough of a warrant for a sale.
Of course, some people would've lamented it in commode, but people lament Theo Hernandez to this day, so those people shouldn't be taken seriously.

The majority here, I believe, approve our sales even when they seem to be premature/before the player could theoretically blow up at a different club.
Besides Aubameyang and Kerkez (and even that was beyond the club's control), I can't think of 1 player that Milan undersold and blew up in a different club. All the players that come to mind (Toanli and Reindeer as of late) were sold for the right price and did not reach elite player status thereafter.
Not even mentioning the fact that we scammed Newcastle and Leeds for Thiaw and Okafor and oversold them.

The club's track record in not fumbling potential markup in a sale is solid thus far, and therefore even if they sold Maignan, only the usual suspects would moan about it, as they do generally. Leao, for instance, was not justified for a sale when that 120m Chelsea bid came knocking, since no one here could've realistically foreseen the tragic downfall in his approach. He legitimately was on the roadmap to compete with the best LW's like Vini or Mbappe.

Maybe an unpopular opinion, but if we're really selling Leao and Nkunku, and the only offers we're getting for Giménez are loans with options or any other formula that doesn't give us significant cash immediately, then honestly I'd just keep him. What's the point of loaning him out if it doesn't actually help us finance the players we need now?
Playing for current Porto in the current Liga Nos as a starter basically guarantees 12-13 goals minimum. If we are smart we will use this momentum and send him right away to a 5-15th ranked PL team for 45-50 m next season.

AC Milan back in contact for Can Uzun.

The Rossoneri have held talks with the entourage of the attacking midfielder, who was already linked with Milan earlier in the transfer window.

His name is back on the radar.

Any praise of Pioli after the Roma EL games is beyond insane.

I am certain our friends from Frankfurt will be very happy to see us again after we almost signed their SD without telling them. They will surely offer us a big discount and favorable conditions.

As bad as fufuna is, I don’t like selling to direct rivals unless we get a better player in exchange. Nico is dog shit too.

Khepran for Fofana please.
When the player is shit, a rival is your huckleberry.
Fofana to Juve is just mwah.

Oshimen may go to arsenal

Leao moves there then?
AC Milan social admin should seize the momentum and ridicule Leao on TikTok

Instead of a coconut, maybe a pineapple on his head (isn't even far-fetched from his normal hairstyle)

One of the many things that I don't understand about this regime is why they leak the names of the players that are on the chopping block and why exclude them from team activities and let them train on their own.

It's not a good selling strategy if you demean the product that you want to sell which would prompt the potential buyer to offer the lowest price possible. As a successfull businessman Cardinale should understand that, unless owning Milan makes you lose your marbles.
Maybe they chose this strategy as the costs of having softer approach and risking keeping them in a squad will prove bigger and more damaging to the team cohesion than selling them under their value asap.

No if you watched Milan for a while you would know he should have been sold a few a years ago. Fat Mike for a reason

Not hindsight at all. Eye test says it all.

I am saying got quota spots it’s best to fill in with Italian GKs and cbs

Cause those are the 2 positions Italy generally produces some quality players even now.

Replace mike with an Italian gk and there are quite a few of them would be the logical choice.

Really hope musah can turn it around. Still young. I find it funny how some of you want some of these players to fail while they are still ours

If we can get 20 mil for Mike that would be great. He had a decent half year after a dreadful couple years. The time has come, especially with him clearly not wanting to be here. I think he does have a bit of value on the market.

Thank you for the Scudetto season and other incredible moments along the way.

I'm sure we can fill the GK position with someone serviceable for a modest fee.

Added bonus of us not tying the armband to a GK. I personally never liked GK captains and would be happy to have an outfield player wearing the armband.

What's the point of loaning him out if it doesn't actually help us finance the players we need now?

Go into the season with Sergio Ramos as the clear starter and Giménez and Camarda fighting for the spot behind him. I genuinely think that's a perfectly fine striker department. Ramos gets the vast majority of the important minutes and the other two have every incentive in the world to prove themselves whenever they get their chances.

For Giménez, it's basically one last opportunity to show that somewhere inside him there's still that Feyenoord striker who was banging in goals for fun. And for Camarda, it's the perfect challenge too: if he's really as good as we all believe he can be, then he should be capable of outperforming the Giménez we've watched for the last year and a half. Don't gift either of them the number two spot – make them fucking fight for it.
If it’s a sale of Santi without a replacement, sure. If it’s a sale with one, then I think we should do it, even if it’s for a journeyman.

Santi has been a non-entity. Actually, no, there was the breaking of Jashari’s leg.

Tomori goes to Lazio, we get Nuno Tavares

Lotito gets a player he needs and doesn’t need to pay resell to Arsenal, could make sense for both parties

It’s really how much Amorim rates Tavares. I’d imagine there were some issues with his massive drop in form as well, so not sure if we are keen to take on any more problems

Not going to lie, physically he has qualities to succeed.

He has had an inflammation in the knee though.

And he has been poor defensively.

Attacking wise he still seems to be a threat.

Won’t be worse than estu or Bart for sure. ceiling wise he is far better than both although he has declined in the last 2 seasons.

Could he improve in a new environment and Become the player he once was? Maybe? Outside chance

For now it’s a low risk I suppose.

Too late for a new keeper imo.

At best we get a journeyman veteran more capable of challenging for the starting spot than Terraciano, Pepe Reina profile.

More than likely to be sorted out next summer and I don’t see high transfer fee considering his high wages in his 30s
