Condor was trash. Luckiest mofo ever.
Anyone else who had access to the war chest he had in those days would have done a far better job. Any competent SD I mean.
True, but he was fun. And, yes, his last years as SD were extremely frustrating.

Remember when the coach (Leo, I think) asked for wingers and Galliani got Huntelaar (which we then played out of position)?

Gotta say, it's quite amusing that you've teased orphans for celebrating a semi-final and yet you celebrate a semi-final in your signature.
In Pakistan they celebrate vicariously through oriundi as they don’t have the physical capability to compete in football given their 150th ranking.

So anything above qualification for the World Cup in their eyes should be a bonus. They probably have mosques built for pissi.

I think he will come after Kunku sell. He has good highlights. I do not know if they buy anyone if they sell Leao

Watching a game highlight is much more useful.

Pavlo is a typical braindead midtable EPL player. Italian football just doesn’t suit him. He’d fit right into the chaotic nature of midtable English football

World Cup was draining. All 4 knockout games were intense...last one vs england has me still smiling (despite fifa robbing us in the final)
We'll get them back in Finalissima(if it's played), then claim the next Copa America

Will be very interesting to see how we end this market.

Seems like a lot of questions about the existing squad have been answered. Chukwueze undoubtedly passed the test and is locking up the RWB position. We still need a more defensive option as a backup, especially after we loaned out Athekame.

Gila looks to be adapting very quickly and is so much better than every other defender we have. Would be great to upgrade the CB or LCB positions also in this window. That seems like a weak point that needs to be addressed soon. I'm not sure if Sankhoun can step up this season, but who knows.

LWB is our biggest problem right now. Major upgrade needed here. I don't know how balanced it would be with Saelemaekers on the left and Chukwueze on the right.

I think we're mostly fine in midfield, whoever we sell we get someone else to replace them, but overall Rabiot-Modric-Jashari are good enough for the midfield duo. Hojberg seems like an ideal candidate to replace Fofana and Ricci, especially if Rabiot is mostly going to be used in the AM position. Comotto and Musah should flesh out that department, I don't think we're at the stage now to afford to loan Comotto. Maybe loan in January if things settle down a bit and he's not getting minutes.

Same with Alpha Cisse on the left. Sell Leao, the team looks completely different with him and without him. The press just doesn't work when he's strolling around. Nkunku and Leao out would allow us to upgrade the squad in a big way, hopefully investing in the backline. Pulisic, Saelemaekers and Cisse are enough for that left sided AM position.

On the other side i'm actually hopeful that Rabiot will make that position his own, and we just need to find a young player with potential to rotate with him and RLC.

Up front we can't rely on Camarda as the only backup. He also needs regular minutes in a possession dominant team, so maybe a loan to Serie B is best for him. We need a good cheap backup to Ramos. Weird that we're loaning out Santi, honestly. I feel like letting him stay without pressure as the bench option might be best for everyone at this stage.

I'm slowly regaining some optimism for the season, but it depends a lot on what we do in the next two weeks or so. The squad need a LOT of work to make it one that Amorim can depend on. Way too many players right now need to be shipped out. Two weeks to find a home for Tomori, Nkunku, Leao, Estupinian, Terracciano, Fofana, Odogu and Gimenez. Then replace them with a CB, LWB, backup RWB, backup CM, backup AM and a backup CF. Huge amount of work to be done with very little time. I hope they know what they're doing.
Chuck passed the test? Are you convinced this easily?

I remain with the opinion that Chuck is pure shit
Did he play amazingly well vs United?
Yes

But he had acres of space and time to make those crosses. You give Wild or nonsonoqui that much time and space and they will cross equally well. Also let's not forget the "assist" to Cisse was a wayward shot from Chuck. That's the kind of shooting you'll get under the pressure of a typical league match IMHO

Look man, if he can do this consistently vs the toughest league in the world then I would be happy to eat my words but until then let's not blow our loads over a player who's been complete shit in the last couple of years

Not just him even Conceicao said the same thing.

It maybe not the best league. Would say perhaps second or third. But physicality wise? Fuck yea it’s the hardest by far. You have no choice but to be strong and technical/tactically adept to do well. Rare exceptions aside.

Absolutely. And the jury is still out on if he’s even the right fit personally. He lost the dressing room at United, it could happen here if things go sour.

Was just making the point that he’s not going to bend over backwards for anyone just based on their market valuation.

I like what he’s had to say so far but its expected at this stage. Time will tell.

This locker room?

Bruv, you will see more respect for Maldini on an inter forum than here. :proud:

One dude literally posted a selfie he took with Maldini in Milano and said "sorry if this is inappropriate here".

And people replied - "nothing to apologize for, Maldini is a legend of Italian football and a legendary rival". :proud:

Quiet a contrast to what you see here.

It's best to treat RnB community as a Redbird mental hospital rather than a Milan forum. :proud:
Brother, go spend your time on that Inter forum then. This post made me sick to my stomach.

If someone posted a picture here with an Inter legend (if they had one), we would rightly ridicule them and run their ass off of this forum.

This is the first time in quite a while that optimism filters with many on the forum. There are people with agendas that stick to their positions no matter what and see negatives everywhere but in most cases it's human nature to have mood swings depending on results.

I remember and old sports TV program on ABC that covered all kinds of competitions titled: "The Wide World of Sports" that's now a ride at Disney World. Its opening featured triumphs and disasters and a voice-over that said, "The thrill of victory and the agony of the defeat".

That's exactly the kind of fan that I am and I think most of us are as well. From high to low in no time flat depending on the results and when we win I forgive the mistakes made.

This board is very busy now, revitalized by @General that for some mysterious reason seems to have undue influence with our posters, (maybe he buys them off), and @Pingu with his takes from the Articts. They brought us luck but we need to keep away the Mario Reality guy.

Many people living abroad do not know how difficult it is to play against the teams of the Italian championship, it is more difficult to play against Monza or Cagliari than against Real Madrid
Holy moly, the level of delulu on this one.
I was a Fonseca advocate until now but I understand why management let him go via the journos the middle of a car ride.

You are just spending too much time on Chuk.
I doubt anyone is saying he will be world class.
But he did have a decent loan season & he did decent again with Amorim.
It wont be the first time that a coach squeeze good from shit players.
I think we didnt get a decent offer for him so we obviously decided to keep him as a squad players which i think he earned it.
Would definitely keep him over Estu, Ricci, Nkunku, Santi & co who had a bad season & friendlies.
The same goes for LC.
So the point is LC & Chuk deserve to stay over the list i gave & that doesnt mean they will be great but if a decent offer come for any then we should definitely sell.

I find it rather disrspectful for posters on a Milan fansite to refer to the team I love as Beelan (or any variant). It is what I expect to hear from Inter fans and the like. Some of you may think it is funny, but I believe it is disgraceful. I have no problem with anyone insulting Gerry, our management, our coach, and even the players (well, most of them), but please refrain from insulting my team.

For sake of argument, imagine this was a juve fansite and I repeatedly posted referring to the team as Ladri. How quickly do you believe I would be banned (and for good reasons)? I find it extremely wierd that I appear to be the only one who has a serious problem with this.
Totally agree, calling the club beelan is mad disrespectful and only heard from inter fans usually unless that poster low key is an inter fan right @Soldier of god ???
