Bruno was never injured in his career. He is 31 years old, and already played 50k minutes in his career. I can get why this would be compared to Napoli getting KDB, who turned out to be super washed, and a major flop for them. However KDB was injured a lot, and his last couple of seasons in City was already on a downhill pattern.

In the meantime, Bruno just won the EPL player of the season, with a record setting 21 assists.

My concern would be that Amorim used Bruno actually in the double pivot, next to Casemiro. A Bruno-Rabiot/Jashari/Modric midfield would be too imbalanced, we would be completely overrun.

As a LAM, he would be the perfect player, cost and age aside. Lets not kid ourselves, Bruno Fernandes is still world class. I could not name 5 better players for that LAM position.

But I think this will not be happening. 57 mil pound is 66 mil euro. 10 mil net salary would be 18 mil gross. On a 4 year contract, that is 16,5 mil depreciation+18 mil gross wage = 34,5 mil euro annual cost. This is around 8% of our annual revenue, allocated to a single player. It is not happening.
