Longo says it's 3M + 30M + bonus.

Anyway, it looks like we're being compensated for his yearly ammortisation and the buy-out option is more or less his book value in a year. Given how we refused Portos offer for Gimenez I strongly believe RB Leipzig is going to pay Nkunkus wages too, which means we're saving the 11.5M yearly gross wages (and some still believe this was one of Furlanis "opportunities") as well.

Given that he's done absolutely nothing last year (and the years before) to make clubs go wild, I guess loan + option is best we could do.

Surely the ammortisation is more like 8 than 3.

Meanwhile, one of the best wingers in the world still hasn't received a single offer from anyone except some Turkish club trying to lowball us :(
Forget it dear Alo, there's no reasoning with the cult

The fact that there are 3 TikTok screenshots on Google Images' first results regarding Leao while Nkunku has none should provide a hint

What do you except?
We have no leverage. We don’t make ucl

Suffer cockindale.
The reality is that we put ourselves in an impossible position the second Amorim decided he wanted him out and the club acted immediately. Our hands were tied, really. Once we exiled him, every club knew we wanted to get rid and our negotiating position got weakened. And it certainly doesn't help when he's set on joining only one club who are unable to offer anything close to a number that would help us recoup some of the money we paid.

What really drives me mad, however, is the fact that Chelsea were in the same position with Nkunku last summer, but they somehow got 40m for him. Why didn’t we sign him on a loan with an option to buy when Chelsea were desperate to move him on? He was completely out of their squad and available on terms that carried virtually no risk - IF we had pushed for it. We’d not only be €40m better off today, but we wouldn’t still be trying to sort out this situation late in the transfer window. And above all else, I wouldn’t be sitting here on a fine Sunday morning frustrated writing this.

I genuinely want to know which idiot signed off on that decision. I thought it was a horrible idea at the time, because it was foolish to get a player on a downward curve on a flat-out 40m transfer. When he arrived here, he was well out of form and even had to lose a few kilos before he could play more than a half. Seriously, which idiot signed off on that? Names please.

Musah for the USNT and his time in Spain, was really good as a DM in midfield.

He retrieved the ball well and carried it well, he's just lacking smarts... But I think if you limit his options and tell him, instruct him better, he can fulfil a simple role.

If the midfielders are to offer more cover, allowing other players to overlap and attack, he actually makes some sense in that manner.

RLC, Estupinian, Bondo, Terra and Chuk still being here worries me more to be honest.

Musah shadowing Salad and training with Modric wouldn't be the worst way to give him a season to actually try redeem himself.

If that doesn't work, sell him!!!
he’s flat out garbage and should be dumped to futuro like adli asap

at least RLC has a goal in him here and there but musah is simply a net negative. zero contribution, just braindead running

Meanwhile, Turkish club offered cash for the rapper while Cuckunku will be our new signing coming back from loan next summer. :LeaoP:

By the way, does anyone remember when we paid an €18m loan fee for Higuain?

No, that wasn't the buy-out option fee as that was set at €36m. That was literally the cost just for the loan itself

Holy shit, that was ridiculous.

Why just not sell to Newcastle on a permanent deal? In fact, I'd probably accept 25m on a permanent transfer from them than the 4+28 from Leipzig.

Even if he does well there, I wouldn't be surprised at all if Leipzig have the audacity to ask for a discount and then return him here if we say no.
Player's will matters. Maybe he rejected the move because he prefers Leipzig? In which case, Leipzig has the upper hand here because he's frozen out of the squad.

Because footballers aren't slaves, and if Nkunku strongly prefers a move to RB Leipzig, we can't just ship him off to Newcastle against his will. I'm pretty sure that if there had been a realistic opportunity to move him permanently instead of settling for a loan, we would've taken it.
But ... did someone tell Nkunku about the airport?

When you do all this and still have Chuk and Pavlo /Gabbia starting, you know the team is bad.
I believe in chuk.

I wanted to replace Gabbia with Nesta or T. Silva, but i know where the line between fantasy and drug addict is.

So maybe Nkunku is out (temporarily) and maybe we are getting Inacio. Is any of this confermato?

In any case, Forza Milan! Let's start the season with a win!!!

Been a link throughout the summer.

I don't know him well. Would he be as strong a signing as Gila for our defense? Hard to know maybe, when he plays in the Portuguese league.

I'd be surprised if we sign a name we've been linked to this much, considering the other signings. They come out of the blue.

Inacio would be good. Soule would be another amazing one. We need cbs. Can pav and de winter actually become reliable defenders this season. I like what they give on the ball. Even pav when he attacks space in front of him. Also wonder what amourim sees in terra.
