DAY 25 of me mentioning this kid. Very low risk. He'd hold his value at the very minimum.

Annoyingly West Ham seem to have wrapped him up.

They tried to steal Jashari - maybe we should jump on him now too.

He's cost around 25 mil euro.

You're a fool if you think any SD can work with any sort of autonomy on the market while that rat Furlani is his boss. Furlani looks at his precious algorithm and tells Tare what's the max amount he can spend on a player, club wants more, reject the offer, Tare can't do a damn thing about it.
Youre saying that as if Lotito was an oil sheikh

I don't think he looked too bad when he wandered forward. He struggled when the midfield vanished all the time and exposed his positioning. A competent coach and better mids can solve that problem.
Chiellini began his career as a LB and was decent there before moving to CB, we can do the opposite with Pavlovic, or at least try it out in pre-season matches. When behind and needed to score Pavlo was one of our top attacking threats, his problem is defense: man-marking and positioning.

Not only that. Lotito is a known meddler and shit disturber

Tare may have some restrictions, sure, but the biggest issue is how long it took Furlani and co. to make a decision on him. This is why we wIll be playing catch up. Lots to do.

I can live with that. Atleast the wings will have a lot of effort into it.
Do we not need, want more certainties when needing to get back into the CL?

Those 2 being starters is a terrible idea.

I think people will be surprised by how functional Ricci will be for us. If Fofana steps up, I think we'll be okay. We still need another starter, though. It'd be our luck Modric's body falls completely apart as soon as he comes to us.
Fofana is going to be the biggest surprise for fans this season.
He was very good at time last season. Imagine in a 3 man midfield, better fitness, from less games and being asked to do the things he does best.

More people don't understand how dysfunctional Reijnders-Fofana pivot is. For me, Fofana's best qualities aren't defensive.

Its just some friendlies. We all know this would ended up happening. By the end of august, we still gonna be dealing with problems in give Allegri an entire squad.

I think we'll see a Tonali type of year one. Where adjustment is needed.

I've been on the Ricci-train for a while, and think he will be a very useful and as you say, functional player.

If Modric can do just 50% of the season I'll be happy.

Pinning our hopes on RLC bagging 10 goals is cheap and hopium at it's best.

Relegating Adli is stupid in the absence of any creative outlet in midfield other than Modric and RLC.

Ricci needs time, we shouldn't pin all our hope on him and 39 year old. Nor do we pin hopes on Adli or RLC.

The midfield unit as a whole needs to be looked at, and I have concerns currently, still.

RLC is creative? Not for me.
Modric, Jashari, Fofana all have an eye for a pass.

I agree. He seemed much more defensive before we got him, it's one reason why I was so happy with him coming here. But it's obvious that he's not defensive-minded. Some of the passes and link-up play he showed last season was phenomenal - better than Reijnders.

Last summer, I thought we were just getting a better RLC - I didn't expect him to be decent defensively. Nor a liablity. But what surprised me was his passing.
He's not just a ball carrier like his highlights before we got him, made me think he was.

Creativity and creating things, ie G/A. For all I knock RLC, he did contribute to G/A therefore was creative.

From the rumblings out of Milanello, RLC is seen as the guy to potentially replace the goals we'll lose from Deers. That's a massive risk!

I'd add Adli in the eye for a pass category.

Currently the notion that RLX replaces Deers, and Pobega is a FB, while Adli and Musah are ostracized, word ChuK and Royale is worryingly quiet. And we don't have anyone other Giminez up front really.

Is fucking worrying...

To be clear, RLC has no place being relied upon and we need 2 starting quality RBs, and another starting quality FWD... Before we even think top 4 is an option.
