It only works ve shit teams though..there are teams that demolish these defensive teams,
Even in serie a
I think it's wild card... If we scored any early chances they'd typically have to open up giving us a lot more opportunities. If you don't score early against these small sides in Italy you're in for a frustrating ride.

These bottom league teams in Serie A are the reason our league can't get the commercialization levels of EPL. They make the league atrocious to watch. You have talent like Felix, Leao, Puli, Santi on the pitch against a team with 10 players behind the halfway line for an entire 90 minutes.... Even 1-0 down very little changed about Verona's attitude going forward its pathetic to the sport in general and boring af to watch.
Not every lower level Serie A team plays like this.

Empoli, Como, Cagliari are more ambitious to name a few.

Idk what’s with Verona but they didn’t even play well despite putting most behind the ball.

We just failed to create due to our shitness

Wtf was this fist half again? Do we start this slow on purpose? In second half it was more or less only a question of when we score but with this squad you never know if they will keep missing sitters.

Sergio’s record so far 9 wins, 2 draws, 3 losses

Won 3 of the last 4 Serie A games, could have been 4 out of 4 had we just hung on against Inter

Zagreb stings still
Zagreb was on Gabbia and Musah. Feyenoord was on Mike. Sergio's results have been good, even if performances haven't. But I don't hold it against him because even after the January market this squad is a mess and half the players are braindead.

This is our 13th game in 43 days. We haven't gotten anything more than 4 days between games since December.
Not surprised our players playing on fumes most of the time.

Walker is more of a traditional, balanced FB.
Jimenez is more of a wing back. He is great at going forward but he's shaky as fuck defensively.

This is the type of game Jimenez excels at as a FB, as he is essentially a second RW, against teams that sit deep and not able to threaten us.
So is walker the way that pokemon guy from feyenoord ate him alive few days ago

The biggest positive from this match (not that there were many) was Gimenez.

It’s still early (praying for no Piatek), but he looks like a killer.

I couldn’t care less if he doesn’t get involved much if he can put the ball in the net with decent service.

Nurture him and build around him. There are only a handful of decent strikers in the top flight.

My last thought for the night: Musah must never again start as a wide midfielder. Pulisic, Jimenez, Sottil all must be considered before him. In that order.

I disagree. Reijnders had a good game. Musah was decent in fact. Just shoddy in decision making and Fofana was the worst, had a few questionable moments
Reynders doesn't do what he has to, by the way, he can learn from the quality and timeliness of the broadcasts from Thiaw.

He fusses, loses the ball, chooses the worst attack development. A lot of marriage

We didn't play great I agree but in EPL these small teams open up and go forward. There's entertainment value... 90 mins of straight defending with these lower league Serie A teams is the most frustrating thing on earth
If Milan wasn't as mediocre as they are it would have been an entertaining game. The constant mistakes and mishaps from Milan players almost made me throw a shoe through a window. Don't blame relegation fodder for Milan being dull to watch. Milan should feast on these teams.
