Pato just told the journalists outside the locker room that he's fine. So no injury worries there

Do you believe any other player leaves the field without telling his coach. FFS guys, Ambrossini has had TONS of injuries his entire career, more than Pato's, he's 35 and yet even when he was clearly in pain he gave his all out there and was our best midfielder. Stop justifying his ridiculously pussied out attitude. If he wants to actually do anything close to important in his career this isn't the place anymore, not a place where he's justified to pull stuff like this only to be rewarded with a derby start because Daddy in law made the call.

"play until you get stretched off" LOL and then blame him for being injury prone and keep on bitching about selling him when he's out for 2 months and comes back with poor form.
I question anyone's competitive drive or if they've played a competitive sport, if they don't see the problem in this. It's not ok. Play till you get stretchered off
I would agree with you if he wasn't already injury prone. Merkel and Ambrosini haven't had ~12 injuries in the past 2-3 years so I expect them to not worry much about their knocks.
You're also making it seem like he left during the middle of the game, there were like 5 minutes left. It's not that big of a deal.
And yes, I've played and still play sports on a competitive level so there's no need to question that.
don't give a fuck about injuries dude. I never said sell him or bench him cause he's injury prone. I was saying we should build around him and got insulted cause 'he's too injury prone to build around'
I care about fact he doesn't give a fuck and prefers to party and enjoy his posh lifestyle than work.
He's a premadonna
honest q,
When was the last competitive team you played on? What Pato did is not acceptable on any level if he's ok. You don't leave your teammates like that. End of story. I don't recall sheva, kaka, pippo, maldini, nesta etc. doing that unless they had serious injury..... i do recall ronaldinho doing similar..

tbh I didn't see anything wrong with his attitude against inter where he worked really hard, and I didn't see him slacking tonight.
personally me and my team mates would shake off cramps and strains, but we're just amateurs, its impossible to compare us with a pro like pato.
given pato's history of injuries, I get why he would get worried when he felt a strain and chose to leave the field, he probably gets scared due to his past which is totally normal.
ambrosini missed like 3 years injury plagued though.
I just happen to think, in face of public criticism and fact his own teammates, management and coach question his commitment and drive, for him to do this. What does it say?
I mean really, galliani accepted a low offer for him, which tells you exactly what management thinks of his commitment level.

I didn't see the game what exactly did Pato do?

It was a cup match against Novara, man. Not exactly the Champions League final we're talking about. If Pato felt something, ANYTHING, he should have come off. Not worth risking an injury.
Least ambitious post ever.
It´s not about the match. It´s about putting your team first and doing everything you need to win. "Meh fuck it. Something itches. I´m gonna call it a night. SEE YOU BOYS!" attitude when your captain and two other teenagers are playing in pain is just completely wrong.
Do EVERYTHING you need to do to win.

Merkel also left the pitch for a few minutes to receive treatment. We were a man down then, and yet no one is crucifying him on the forum. In fact, not a single post.
Yeah and then Merkel got back on the pitch despite his pain to help the team as much as he could.
Pato just walked off, leaving Ambrosini baffled.
It's just plain wrong to equate these two

I can't believe that some of you here would rather that Pato stay on the pitch and risk getting more serious injury. It is one thing that players insist that they stay, but to force them to keep playing on when they certainly feel a pain and are concerned with possible injury?![]()
