Him returning would diffidently not make it worse. He is better than Pazzo and Bojan, and he can make the 4 attackers much more fluid, plus there's good chemistry between him and Binho.

If he hits top form, then we will be a really good team. but I'm not getting ahead of myself.

If he decides to work out and tweak his natural talent and live up to the expectations; then, it is good. He is better than Pazzo in movement outisde and slightly better inside the box. Better than Bojan? Yes, he has the body; however, pato does not have the vision, yet.

Good chemistry with Binho? They are less dysfunctional than Ibra-Pato. Wether it was in Milan or Brazil's NT they are too far apart; though, i wish they could form a nice tandem (including SES) which it would be more beneficial for Binho.

I hope Pato is finally over his tsunami of injuries. I'm sure he can make a difference.

Anyway, to be honest. I assume he will be out again within a month. Well, these expectations are quite realistic, unfortunately...

Besides, from what I've seen, and I've seen most Brazil games, Pato wasn't worse than Damiao for sure.
The problem is that Menezes wanted a ST and not a CF.

no he didnt ,menezes first choice was damio couse pato was injured all season ,he was fine at o.l .

but i think he is finaly fit .

He got injured in training before the Olympics. Light injury, but you can see the trend.
Point is, he was not playing much different in Seleção than here...

Edit: On another note, now that Pato is back, we've a fully fit squad finally?

Menezes: Pato must resolve injury problems​

The 23-year-old was part of the Selecao's silver medal-winning side at the Olympics during the summer, but has yet to make an official appearance for AC Milan this season due to an abductor complaint.

The talented attacker has seen his early career blighted by injuries, but Menezes has stressed that the striker still has a big part to play for his national team once he resolves his current fitness problems.

He told Gazzetta dello Sport: "In my Brazil Pato has played very little. Despite this, however, he is the second-best goalscorer of the team, which means that his quality is extraordinary. I'm looking forward for his return on the field, but the more important thing is that he heals once and for all."

Pato was restricted to just 17 appearances for the Rossoneri last season due to a string of injuries, and while Menezes maintains that he is still in his plans, he admitted he is baffled by the former Internacional man's continued problems.



"In my opinion his constant physical problems are not due solely to bad luck," added the 49-year-old. "I talked about Pato with my medical staff and they told me that he has no structural abnormality, so he is not a player destined to be injured. Therefore, we need to understand why there are so many accidents."

He didn't assist on robinhos goal. It was noce with the ball and it kind of bounced of the defender and robinho scored. But nice backheel pass in the build up.
