pele thinks he is still to young to make the move to europe yet, he also thinks we are not in need of a striker. i hope milan still put in a bid for pato, we could you use a striker that is so young and talented.

wont cut it in serie A...

These kind of players are becoming more and more important in football because they can decide a match in one move.

Look at England

Joe Cole
C Ronaldo
(Nani)
(Anderson)
(Quaresma)
...

These are all players who like to dribble and can dribble

If you're happy with a player that dribbles and loses his ball when you're losing a CL semi-final, then they would be good choices.

I rather have a player like Kaka, Seedorf who can dribble, and do it effectively. If I were a Man Utd fan I would have lost my mind if I saw C. Ronaldo play against us like he did in the return CL semi final. I don't want such showoffs here, we don't need them.

you gets points for scoring and setting up goals not for attempting meaningless moves

You are right at one point, players like Kakà or Seedorf can also dribble but do it more effectively but you also know that if Ronaldo is on fire he can turn every defender nuts.

One flash of him can make the difference.

I'm not saying you have to buy an entire squad of these players but one or 2 comes in handy but I agree with you because I like Kakà's playing style more then the one of Ronaldo but you can't deny that there weren't Milan fans who shitted their pant's when Ronaldo got the ball.

And Ronaldo had scored 20 goals and 10 assists in England if I'm correct ?

Or something like that

When he doesn't it's because he's selfish and tries to show off instead of playing football with his teammates. If he wants to grow he must change his attitude and I don't see that happening

If I want to see a clown I'll go to the circus

PATO is not a showoff player, he has incredible technic but he is not a C.Ronaldo or Quaresma.....
Pato is a support striker with a great scoring skill, i already imagine Kaka' behind Pato and Ronaldo upfront :)

The President Silvio Berlusconi, before posing for the ritual photos of the days from the Rossoneri’s training camp, spoke with Milan Channel. The President wanted this way to outline yet again what is the strategy of the club for the season that is starting:
Pato: “He’s a player we are following and we consider him of great value. Even though he is only 17 years old, we believe that we can invest in the player, like we did for example for Gourcuff who in France is considered the only real heir to Zidane. If we decide to buy Pato right now, his arrival would exclude any other arrival, in fact we don’t want to create too much dualism considering we already have a big squad in my opinion.”

Berlusconi admits Pato in AC Milan sights

tribalfooball.com - July 24, 2007

AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi has admitted interest in Internacional de Porto Alegre starlet Alexandre Pato.

"We are watching Alexandre Pato with interest as he's very young but so promising. But don't forget we already have Yoann Gourcuff who is a player of enormous value," said Berlusconi.

and have you ever SEEN KAKA play before MILAN ???????!!!!!!!

you got to take risks if you want stars or buy 30 years old players of a medium VALUE

I'm praying toget pato 24/7 cuz thats the only worth asset in the market right now but since real and chelsea are interested I doubt it our president is gonna say that we got gourcuff or we got kaka like hapened in this years transfer market :( I mean inter beaten us twice this year and they got suazo , jumnez , tyson and they could get chivu and emerson

according to reports in spain pato's agent said that he only wants to join real after having talks with mijatovic over the weekend.
i hope this is bs because we have had more than long enough to agree a deal.

He can change, Milan could change him but there is no point discussing him because he won't come.

Marca frena Berlusconi : "Pato vuole solo il Real"

http://www.gazzetta.it/Calcio/Calciomercato/Primo_Piano/2007/07_Luglio/24/patoreal.shtml

La Gazzetta dello Sport reports an appointement between Gilmar Veloz and Mijatovic in order to transfer Pato to Madrid. About the transfer of Pato, his agent said that he only wants to join the Real.

I hope it's not true, just spanish media who try to disturb us once again. But if Berlusconi wants this kid he must do something right now instead of telling the whole world that he's interested in Pato.

If you guys want a player with promising future, you better start watching Alexis Sanchez, he is from Chile, i don't usually promote chilean players... but this kid is from another planet ...

He is Udinese's property though ...

just take a look at this video against Congo

or against Portugal ...

He is the number 7

The number 7 there sure got talent . The only thing he lacks is height . :)

Btw the striker there from the Chile team looks very much like Inzaghi. :D

yes, Alexis Sanchez is a midget, he is 1,68 ... but he is goooood :D

and YES ... lol i always say that ... "Nicolas Medina" is our "Pippo Inzaghi" in Chile ... he is IDENTICAL ... he looks like him, he even plays like him.... it's very curious.... he even has the same height i think .. (this kid had offers from Real Madrid... he is good)

I've heard pato will choose milan because leonardo and him have been talking about his potential position at the club and the teams mentality, hope its right. At Real Pato would struggle for time they have many forwards where as we only have 3 at the minute. If we don't get Pato wonder who "Mr. X" is ?
