:fp::thumbsdown:

4-2-3-1 is similar to 4-4-2, 4-4-1-1.

4-2-3-1 is advanced 4-4-2 where the second striker of 4-4-2 is trequartista in 4-2-3-1 and wingers are more advanced.

4-3-3 is totally a different formation and is unique formation.

a formation without wingers is pretty similar to a formation with wingers?

 :fp:

There are some formation groups:

4-2-3-1 4-4-2 and 4-4-1-1
4-3-1-2 and 4-3-2-1.
3-5-2 3-4-3 and 3-4-2-1.
4-3-3.

Bonera: We are working very hard but this is the start that we need to face the season in the best of ways. Everyone is very keen and we are working really well. Obviously we cannot repeat a season like last year. We all know Pippo and we know that he is full of energy, just like when he used to come off the bench or when he was playing the Champions League, he was an extremely important player and now he is passing that desire and energy down to us as a coach. As a coach he is very well prepared, and from day one he knew what he wanted to achieve. The boss has made it very clear what rules we need to stick by and the preparation we are undergoing is quite intense. It is harder but the ball is always a part of training. We do the harder work towards the end of the training session so that everyone follows a specific training regime based upon what they managed in the morning. Pippo has some very offensive ideas and I think he wants to get the team playing well again, something that has been a little missing in the last few years. Pippo's training methods have been a pleasant surprise, I understood instantly that he was very well prepared. We are trying to create a group that has a strong sense of belonging, we have to be good at getting the players that come from other championships well involved, even from other cultures. The team will have a lot of time during the week to prepare the games so there can be no excuse. Even with Seedorf there was dialogue, I didn't speak so much to Allegri but there was a lot of respect and I was comfortable. Pippo, this being his first year, obviously tries to talk to the experienced players a little more. It is a little strange to see Pippo as coach but the roles are very seperate. As a player I celebrated and suffered with Pippo. I call him 'mister' (boss) because it is important to respect different roles, we all have to understand that he is the coach now.

Pippo's choice of players are the best currently, compared to Allegri and Seedorf.

The thing about Pippo the player was HE NEVER LET THE FANS DOWN

Such a warrior and my personal hero. Nobody can tell how he will be as coach but I'm sure he won't let us down.

Inzaghi: Clean slate for Balotelli

The Italy striker has been linked with a return to the Premier League, but his new coach is prepared to forget any of his previous troubles and grant him a fresh start
AC Milan boss Filippo Inzaghi says he is prepared to give Mario Balotelli a clean slate after revealing he is not interested in selling his star man.

The 23-year-old has been linked with a move to Arsenal this summer, just 18 months into a four-and-a-half year deal at San Siro.

However, Inzaghi - who replaced Clarence Seedorf in the Rossoneri hotseat earlier this summer - has no interest in selling the Italy star and is willing to forget his troubled past.

"Balotelli is a very important player and belongs to Milan," he said. "I'll interact with him in the way I do with other players.

"I'll forget everything I've heard about him either in a good or a bad way because I want to get to know people to get the best out of them.

"The club make the decisions but for me, Mario is a talented guy who plays for Milan and the national team."

Inzaghi, 40, also gave an insight into his plans for the striker this season, as he looks to get the best out of a player who struck 19 times in 43 appearances for club and country last term.

"He should be a second striker because he is the first reference point along with Pazzini. I think we'll stay that way."

Wait a minute are we gonna play 4-3-1-2? We only have Balo and Pazzo for CF

Second striker could probably refer to maybe a 4-3-1-2 but almost flirting with the 4-3-2-1. Making Ballo a second striker and putting him a little behind Pazzo I for one think it is a very smart thing to do, never liked Ballo as our last man, think he can work so much better when he has one more reference in front of him.

A loss to Olympiakos for 3-0 is not a small thing. I wonder how will we do against Manchester City and Liverpool. Speaking about Liverpool, the tickets were f**cking expensive for a friendly.

1-5 vs Man C. I feel sorry for Inzaghi. Seedorf left a total mess behind him. We all have heard from the players how bad Seedorf managed the team and created really poor morale in the team with strange comments. Obviously it will take some time for Pippo to sort all of these problems out.

Really dude? So now it's Seedorf's fault  . I don't care much about Seedorf, heck I didn't even want him to join as our coach, but that doesn't mean that now he can be the scapegoat for everything that goes wrong at Milan.

The truth is that today, without exception all Milan players were owned by M.C. players and that Pellegrini outclassed Inzaghi with a team full of backup players that probably haven't played together in a long time. The only positive thing was our free kick schemes which we all know are not really due to Inzaghi but due to Gianni Vio.

Let's not kid ourselves, Pellegrini is vastly more experienced than Inzaghi, I just hope that we are not falling that Inzaghi will pull a Guardiola or a Conte ... personally I'd be very happy if Inzaghi is able to emulate the first season with Leonardo (well even Leonardo didn't have such a shitty team but that's a different discussion)

Well its pretty obvious that the last 3 inexperienced coaches we hired have all been considered because they are cheap options(although not cheap enough for compensation) rather than anything pioneering like sacchi or capello. [also wouldnt be surprised if leonardo was made coach by galliani so that he could take full power]...

I like inzaghi too much to see him get the seedorf treatment of ex-communication and inquisition :(

He'll probably leave behind a pissed off Silvio, but maintain his good relationship with Galliani and the fans. Sort of like Leo before he joined Inter.
