The signs weren't good, we got trounced by everybody in pre season, it was an embarassment.

We conceded goals for fun at the start, it was amatuer & never from a performance POV did we ever really play well under Inzaghi.

2 games spring to mind, Napoli and Udinese, that's as far as it goes.

The reverse fixture against Udinese lol, reverse of Napoli next game, should be good for a laugh

We were outscoring teams. I'm fine with that.

Now we can't score or defend. At the start it was relatively last-ditch defending but we could score for fun.

Too reliant on Menez, he had a great start, but fades in so many matches & Pippo changed the lineup every single game, giving no continuity to anyone, it's no wonder we've looked horrible. Especially at the back, he didn't settle on a back four til only recently! Mexes-Paletta.

Our defense only improved after Mexes came back, because despite his faults, he's our most talented defender by a million miles, did extremely well for a long period of time, but now we are hopeless.

We have a good enough squad, there is no reason to be this bad.

I guess we are even worse now because we can't make europe, going nowhere, can only finish mid table, the only player that seemingly gives a shit is Philippe Mexes, credit to Diego Lopez aswell who's performed admirably. The rest don't look bothered, evident in the Udinese game, no effort whatsoever.

If u change line up every match , u cant see a team which move the ball forward. If u choose muntari essien etc. that doesnt have ambition to do sth on the pitch , again u cant see any team which even pass each other.

i meant that was the start of problem. He kept push 'em play . Others should've found chances front of those clowns . When u're at mid of table , doesnt matter to play young players or rest of team. Of course there re more problems in the team but inzaghi is the 1st reason for this situation

I'd also say that a lot of our players are being big cunts. Just see how Allegri were doing here and how is he doing now.

He was short of options as Van Ginkel was injured for a long time.

dont remember who posted it but i read something in forum . Inzaghi used 17 different line ups and 13-14 cb dues till the 23. week. is it normal ? could u expect any success with this ? ( numbers may a little high dont remember right number)

Yeah. Because that castrated the rest of the players to an extent. Menez may be able to hold the ball upfront but he is not able to pass the ball upfront even if he has 5 defenders on him and he has 5 teammates open inside the box and onside.

We started the season extremely well and all signs were good: Menez and Honda would fire us to around top 4, the defence would be improved and the players would work for each other...

I get where you're coming from Kuja... but in truth 9th wonder is right. I mean even Parma scored 4 goals past us and I knew our season was done with Pippo once we'd put that performance in vs Juve at home. But what really did it for me was the first half in the 2-2 draw at Empoli. We were lucky to get a point out of that and in the opening 45 we were slaughtered.

If I was to make a slight case for Pippo then it has to be the injury of SES. With him on the pitch u know he can score or assist.

I feel sorry for fans that have travelled and paid good money to go watch us at the San Siro.

That was my expectation on the game and on mister Inzaghi

Niang will create a massive headache to Mattia and Mexes! However some news sources reported that we may use Cerci as false striker :-/ I don't know what mister Inzaghi is thinking about but we already have Pazzini and Mattia to play there ...

I can tell that mister Inzaghi can't form a proper tactical plan where the team can play as an one group :-| and here I mean that using our midfielders and full backs in a fully integrated system where they can comply with our forwards in a more dynamic system not only through long pass to Honda or Menez or diagonal passes to shift the direction or counter attack plays ...

What I really look for is a team that have a systemic tactical plan to stop the opponent and build a play and find a solution within their capabilities which are necessary things to obtain with other many basic tasks and roles that the coach should have already defined with his team and discussed with the management ...
