The other day I noticed that quite a few of the rossonero supporters in here get on our players back more than they support them... especially the strikers!!

Basically i think we should at least support OUR OWN PLAYERS and second of all, please check you facts:

Inzaghi: 107 minutes played per goal (Suffering a short fall-out in form)

Tomasson: 168 minutes per goal (First season in italian football, needs time to adabt)

Shevchenko: 211 minutes per goal (Coming back from injury)

I think they are doing quite OK!!

You're EXTREMLY right in your opinion, and I support it...

We have the best team in our hands since the era with The Flying Dutchmen... :)
C'mon, look at Inzaghi, Shevchenko, Tomasson and Rivaldo - No club has such a great forward!!! :D

I partially agree. Give Pippo, Sheva, and these other guys some lienancy........ok, fine.

Now, JDT......

hmmmmm.......nope, sorry, no-can-do my friends........gave this guy enough time to show me something. Time to drag this guy east to Venezia, tie him up, stick on him a clipper ship, set him to sail to Greece, with a bill in the boat adressed to Olimpiakos for the sum of 4 million euros........

Jon........Thanks for nothing. An another thing, while you are in Greece......practice safe sex.......go screw yourself.

what the hell kind of attitude is that? he gave us nothing?!?!? think again dude... how many serie A games have he played this season? compare him to Rivaldo and youäll understand... P.S. i think we have alot to thank him for when it comes to Coppa Italia... im not saying that we mustn't sell him, in fact i think we SHOULD sell hiim, but not because he is a "poor" player but because he deserves first team football...

and we should have focused on Borriello instead in Coppa Italia

no way guys...
JDT is not Milan Level.... he's wasting his and our time!

It could have been Much Better sending him to Empoli or wherever and keep Borriello for us and for Coppa Italia games, I'm afraid!

Back to Superpippo and Sheva... noone think seriously they're not good and no more able to score and make miracles...
Most criticics are for their way of NOT PLAYING WELL together!!! (I would say they're awful together)
...
and they don't even seem to try!!!

WHAT THE FXXX ARE U TALKING ABOUT??????!!!
Ok..... well I'm RiviPippoNestaShevdini - talking about KILLING AND TORTUING a guy who've served our club EXTREMLY WELL in that fact he never gets any time on the pitch...
He's the only guy - (together with Seedorf now) who've scored IN EVERY SINGLE COMPETITION so far this year - while he almost never have played a whole match for Milan!!!
C'mon BE SERIOUS!!!
Boriello is talented... Almost 2 goals...... - YEAH RIGHT!!!
What makes you think he's more worth than Jon? NO WAY!!!
Already as soon as he arrived in Empoli for a couple of weeks ago - HE HAVE BEEN NOTED AS THE WORST FORWARD FOR TWO WEEKS by the newspapers - and I have the evidence of just one of many instances...:
http://www.soccerage.com/en/13/k3424.html
LOOK - WORST ELEVEN OF THE WEEK!!!
A TRIBUTE TO MARCO _ LOL!!! :devil2: :devil2: :devil2:

Yeah, I saw that list yesterday... First of all, it was Marco's first match with Empoli, not his second. Piojo Lopez was on the list too and we all know how a crappy season he's having.

Yeah, Pippo and Sheva are pretty awful together. It's like there's no *spark*, no chemistry.

As a matter of fact, I think this is getting to much for me - if we ..... as AC MILAN supporters wanna support our team - we must DEFINATELY support our players too, while they're still joining our club.....
I'm sorry for being so much against Marco Boriello, but I just wanted to tell you why he've been sold to another club...
Support your players, even though you're not satisfied with them ...
One day, Inzaghi, Sheva or Riva will be gone, just because of a bad period in football and our critics about their morale at the pitch ... and I know we'll regret it, if they leave sooner or later...
FORZA ALL ROSSONEROES - They are ALL our heroes.
"Peace" :D

I know... sorry - mistake ... but remember there is a lot of sports-newspapers, not just Soccerage - and the Borriello instance was only one of them......
but anyway... he's in Empoli now, so let's forget him and concentrate at our own heroes as long as each individual player stays in Milan...

LOVE TO ALL ROSSONERO PLAYERS!!!

WHEN?????? In Qatar? In Saudi Arabia???? In Ancona????? And another thing.......I wouldn't waste my time....."killing' & "torturing" human beings. I don't ever recall me writing that about this guy. Oh...well...if he joined Inter than I would contemplate it.
He's the only guy - (together with Seedorf now) who've scored IN EVERY SINGLE COMPETITION so far this year - while he almost never have played a whole match for Milan!!!
I am sending some Danish pastries to his house right this moment. Cheers Jon......I am so fortunate that you have scored in every competition. Did you also know that Tomasson has the most AC Milan goals on a Tuesday night during a solar eclipse? Very impressive record.

The fact of the matter is....if Tomasson is such a great striker, then why is he wasting away on a bench???? Surely this does not happen to great players. The reason is........is because he is in fact, second tier....and not Milan quality. Borriello is about 5 years younger than Tomasson....this is why Mellanie (and myself) say we should have kept him, and given him JDT's limited role on this club....

Damn this JDT.......I have no idea why I waste breath on thsi guy, and furthermore why you people defend him. Remember....we are talking about MILAN and the Serie A........these are 2 places where JDT will never succeed. PRINT IT.

all you guys who are bad-mouthing JDT are stupid...he came to Milan and ever since, he hasn't even had a chance to prove himself... and even when he does prove himself (just look at the Coppa Italia), Ancelotti just looks past his performances. I think we should sell Rivaldo (we could get a good 15M Euros out of him) and use JDT more often.

You seem to hate JDT but when Rivaldo plays like he's got only one leg, you let it go because he's a big-name superstar who helped Brazil win the World Cup... and if im not mistaken, JDT had an amazing year with Feyenoord and with Denmark in the WC....but that's ok, he's no Rivaldo!

Once again, he has been given chances. He blows almost every available chance we give him. This is why he never gets a chance, cause his name never appears on scoresheets and the sort. As for Rivaldo.....I am not big on him either. But, I have graced his presence ever since I saw a deliscious 40 yard through ball that beat Vivas and met Serginho for the winner in the derby of Madoninna......enough said.

Or actually, I'll be fair. JDT scored in the derby too......the only problem was, it was a nonprofit, preseason derby that was watched by a couple dozen people.

Well, I know that Borriello is 4 years younger, or whatever he is...
But the fact is that Borriello is loaned out, because he's too uninitiated for the team - and YOU just CAN'T say THAT on Jon...
I'm not LOVING Jon Dahl, even though I'm a Dane, but I know he fits into this team...
He even love not to be on the pitch every time for all 90 mintues, because it went too hard for him in the length last year at Feyenoord...
But ok - scoring in every single competition might not be good enough for you to keep him - but at least... GIVE HIM A CHANCE!!!
And to all of you who DON'T believe in some Milan players...
Don't piss at them - just give your opinion about them, without bringing them down ...
Or if you JUST IMAGINE Jon Dahl enter the pitch in a CL-final this year - scoring the crucial goal for Milan, well I MIGHT suggest that you'll regret what you've quoted at this topic...

But - I respect that you're having another opinion than I, and I hope you will respect my opinion as well...

funny, according to planetfootball.com, he's started only 4 serie a games, scoring 2 goals, and subbed in for 6 more games... scoring a goal every other game doesn't sound too bad to me... if he started more often, he could score a good 10+ goals in the serie a

ok no talk about my good friend Rivaldo, hes a very useful and immensely talented player :D
so for Jon Dahl? he is like ronaldo in a way, not in talent terms, but he definently excels for his country, BUT, at Milan, because he has world class players supply the assists (Rui, Riva, Sergio, Clarence etc) it gets shown that he cant step up to the next level to score. Also opponents defences, and because the Serie is such a defensive league, he seems to be having trouble dealing with that.

his goals in the coppa italia and friendlys are mainly of the tap-in variety, and also the fact that the teams he often play against are of a lesser standard..

JDT is a good player, but like Donatello says, he should be at a club that plays the kinda football where he would excel, and have a first team place each week, like Olympiakos :D

and any word on the future of our great orange peeler Ibrahim BA?!? :D

remember Borriello is on loan... he was not sold. So after a bit of first team experice, and match fitness, he will live up to his potential.... I hope :D

I really don´t think that we´ve seen the full potential of any of our new signings this season... well, exept mayby Nesta but he´s been playing in the Serie A for years and knows his way around.

Next season both JDT and Rivaldo will be more comfordable at the club and in Serie A and then we´ll see what they really can do. :devil3:

I personally think they are both top quality players who have served us quite ok this season although i know they can both perform a lot better.

If we really feel the need to critizes anybody lets consentrate on teams we really hate.... like Man Und and Inter

Forza Milan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We need to support them if we want to win anything... especially when times are hard.

See you at the San Siro

Since the transfer window has closed now, lets concentrate on all the players we have right now. Hopefully JDT and Riva can show their best in remaining season.

WOW finally someone who doesn't think we should play Rivaldo just cos hes rivaldo! I must say i am not all that impressed with his play at milan but then again he probably needs to adjust. Fair enough. But what gets me is that they persist in playing him when hes out of form and leave him there on the off chance he might play well. They probably want to at least make use of all the money the fork out for his wage.

And then i see poor Jon who goes out there and gives it his all and it makes me sad. I think Boriello (though i havent really seen him play) was good to go on loan as he would get more experience on a Serie A first team squad than a sometimes Coppa Italia match. Just thinking for the future...

IMO none of the 4 strikers have been playing consistently. Until October Pippo was on fire and thereafter everybody has been playing way below their capabilities. Sheva hasn't been the player he was a couple of years ago and Rivaldo hasn't done anything. I think JDT is highly overrated and hasn't done anything to indicate he is anything other than the 'king of Coppa Italia' where he beats up on Serie B losers.

As we all know, strikers are notoriuosly streaky players (Perfect examples being Pippo or Vieri) but we haven't had any of our strikers go on a tear like Pippo did the beginning of the season. Since the trading deadline is past, we have to figure out how to use the strikers to our best advantage in the next few months. The way we've been playing the past few weeks, I don't care who gets hot but somebody had better go on a rampage and start scoring goals on a regular basis. Otherwise we'll be in very big trouble. :devil2:

well...we've got JDT fans and danes here in this forum of plenty, looks like you pissed them all off by those words:<

don't know why you don't like the dane, but i think carlo is not givin' him enough time to prove himself on the pitch so...it's a bit early to say that he plays totally crap.

btw,i'm a JDT fan as well.

I really like JDT as well.

If he is just given time to settle at the club and not just sold on because of this constant focus on the established superstars who, in my opinion, get way to much credit.

Hopefully you´ll all get to see how deadly Jon really is before he gets sold or loaned out.

Forza Milan... and forza Jon!!

Look.....I don't dislike JDT because he is a Dane or because he is crap. It really is neither. I just know my team, and I know the type of player that it takes to excel on this team and in this league. JDT is a fringe player who doesn't meet any of the criteria. There have been plenty of times where he has blown very easy chances, and its a shame I can't recall too many of them now, and there is a reason for this.....they were all matches Milan won....

I forgot which one of you said it, but I agree that JDT's best chances for success in Italy are if he is brought in at about the 70-75 minute interval......that way his only true advantages of agility and endurance can be utilized vs fatigued opposition.

Once again, JDT's hussle and determination are appreciated........the only problem is....they are not enough to cover up his lack of skill.......

Once more I agree with you!
but I wanna add something more...
I really think JDT is a nice man and not that bad player!
No reason to hate him at all (expect for the Pippo's stolen score of Chievo - Coppa Italia, maybe) :(

But we're talking about MILAN and "not that bad" is never enough!!

And I know we HAVE to support all our Players, as many of you say...
but pls don't be silly....
everyone knows who are the best, the good, the poor...
and
everyone in his heart makes his/her preferences list!!!

Probably it's only MY LIST.... and not yours...
but PIPPO, SHEVA and Rivaldo (also), are rated better than JDT!

If I'm going on disappointing you (JDT special fans), I'm sorry...
