Not shaking Nesta's hand =/= doing his job

Antagonizing the fans that loved him =/= doing his job

He should've acted mature, I can understand if he has a grudge about Milan letting him go, but he should be the bigger man. I was happy for his success at Roma until now. I screamed at my computer when I saw him pass over Nesta's hand, so disrespectful, I've seen more respect from Merda players.

:star:

Shame you aren't lucky then, isn't that right. Borri is in the higher echelons of Italian forwards.

true, but that's only because ...

Italian forwards suck balls.

;)

And to repeat something that has been said again and again in this thread, Borriello was/is/will remain average. I appreciate what he had done for Milan but don't regret that Milan let him go.

Borriello was upset with the whistles. *Tear*. Well, perhaps if you showed respect to the club and fans which made you who you are today you wouldn't have received them.

fuck that, he has the right to do whatever

the amount of bitter that you guys are over him in this game is kind of pathetic, including all the posts that attack his talent for scoring against us.

he was never the best player, but you all have to admit that he always worked his ass off, and that he is a very solid player that adds a lot more to the game than just scoring. Ibra is certainly better, and honestly Roma is a better fit for him, in the same way that Fiorentina is better for Gilla. Not a knock on those players, but they are much better at second tier clubs and not in the top 3.

Borriello was our youth product, he worked very hard to become a Milan starter and then was told to leave. Of course he felt disrespected and probably savored this win. You cant blame the guy at all. I agree he should have been a bit classier, but I honestly can understand the defiance 100%

Ugly goal, ugly haircut. He's a good player but I don't think Milan is missing him at all. Ibra is obviously the better choice.

I didn't see him being a c*nt towards the fans and management, but yeah, I guess I can understand that. After Milan bought Ibra he was totally out of the picture, after having had a good season the year before.

To be honest; I don't see how he disrespected the club even before he scored the fans were jeering him every time he touch the ball.

He said he didnt mean anything by the celebration. He said that the roma fans were just behind the goal and so he was really happy. Cmon now, borri aint no douche. Hes a mediocracrecre striker but last year IIRC many, many of our players were praising his character and the warm relationships between him and the rest of the squad n/h

So, can the fans who actually buy tickets to go support Milan. Borriello has a responsibility as a professional footballer. If he wanted respect back he should've shown it to the people who wanted him to remain at Milan.

Don't even dare lecture me about Borriello. I was one of the few people who was always asking for his return since 2005/2006. I don't blame Borriello, however, to celebrate in front of fans, like me, who've always supported him is disrespectful and he shouldn't be one to complain considering his actions. Don't forget he is still under contract with Milan or did you forget that?

Why such a big deal about his celebration?
He is not a Milan product anymore and I dont even think he will return next season, fans were booing and whistling at him, he just STFU every Milan fan, he had the right to do that, because he never asked to leave, Milan management forced him to leave, so as a revanche score against his old team and celebrates, he has every right to do that

he was excited to score, I didnt see anything disrespectful

So you are saying you dont want to see Ibra celebrate if he scores against Barca? (he will) or Prince against Genoa?

Your loyalty should be for the team that you are playing for currently

How can you compare Borriello's situation with Boateng (who hasn't played a match for Genoa and the only time he travelled there was to play Sampdoria with Milan) and Ibrahimovic who played in Barcelona for one season?

Borriello has been associated with Milan for the past decade. He has grown up through the youth system and is still under contract here with Milan.

care to actually explain what he SPECIFICALLY did that was faux-pais. If he taunted Milan fans, I'd agree he was disrespectful and thats f'd up. But i didn't see it that way...

Well, I expected a player who is still under contract at Milan and has been associated with the Club for more than a decade, grown up the youth sector, to show a bit more class in not celebrating.

Would you be pissed if after your second best season ever, the club where you've grown up and which supposedly loves you, buys a new, better CF?

He was doing great and then we go and buy Ibra, although the team has to get better, that would be such a slap in the face.

Sure, I'd be pissed, however, I'd be appreciative of the club giving me the opportunity to play at such a high level and making me the player I was.

And we are top of the table. The club always comes first.

That's not the point, the point is him complaining about the whistles. What did he expect that our own fans would chant his name out in delight after scoring the winner against Milan?

Harden up Sunshine, if you're going to celebrate and infuriate the fans than of course you're going to get whistled, you can't have it both ways.

You can't tell people to harden up when you're visibly saddened and angered over Borri cheering and complaining about being whistled.

:D

Borriello is a good striker, but as a main-striker not good enough for a side who wants to win titles.

its the best for him that he joined rom.

I have never really cared about Borriello, but I didn't see him doing anything particular wrong in his celebration, his playing for Roma eitherway, and his trying to impress them to get a permanent transfer there, so he has every right to celebrate his goal (even overcelebrate it).

Me saddened?

Borriello can do what he likes, I'm just saying don't complain about it. I like Borriello and I believe he should be leading the line for Italy.
