Daniele Bonera will coach the team of talented young players entering professional football​

AC Milan announces that it has formally received, following the decisions made by the Federal Council of the FIGC, a positive response to the application for registration for the Serie C Now Championship of the team of talented young players, which will be named "MILAN FUTURO". The acceptance of the registration application has thus completed the roster of 60 teams that will participate in the Championship managed by Lega Pro in the 24/25 season.
The sports project of Milan Futuro, the latest step on a virtuous path involving the entire youth sector up to the First Team, was created with the main objective of enhancing the talent of young players who have grown up in the Rossoneri Youth Sector, who have already distinguished themselves in recent seasons in their respective leagues, in the Youth League, with their National Youth Teams and completing their physical-athletic maturation process. Furthermore, it will allow the players
to compete in professional football for their own Club.

Daniele Bonera, who made 201 appearances for the Rossoneri over 9 seasons, will be the head coach of Milan Futuro. In 2019, he began his journey as a technical assistant for AC Milan's first team. In 2020, he obtained the UEFA PRO qualification after attending the course in Coverciano.

Today Italy u19 played against Norway U19 in the occasion of the 1st match of Euro U19 2024, Magni-Bertesaghi-Zeroli was in the line up, Italy won 2-1, Zeroli scored the winning goal, Camarda-Sia entered in the 2nd half

bonera was always gonna be the futuro guy, abate had to pick between primavera one more year or trying his luck out. it's a fair decision to try to grow in a different enviroment with different expectations

Could you please explain me, why Magni and Sia(scoring lot of goals/assist) aren't included in the U23 Rosa, while Maximilian Ibrahimovic, who didn't even play a single match with the primavera besides his stats doesn't exceed 3 goals with the U18, is part of our second team?

No idea, Magni was a starter in the 1st one, good performance, but was benched in the 2nd one, hopefully breaking an assist.

Italy u19 lost against Spain u19, though they deliver the best performance, the Rossoneri played well, Exept Zeroli who delivered a poor one, wasting crucial occasions, as depicted below in the video, where you can enjoy a wonderful run-drribling by Diego Sia, and having in the end showing clearness by delivering an accurate passes to his Red&Black teammate

Today Milan Futuro played it's second friendly of the pre-season against Union Clodiense , a Serie C team (group A) and therefore of the same level of opponents that the Rossoneri Under 23s will face this season.


MILAN FUTURE (4-2-3-1) : Mastrantonio; Magni, Minotti, Bartesaghi, Bozzolan; Sandri, Malaspina; Scotti, Ossola, Traorè; Sia. Coach Daniele Bonera.

They lost 2-1 (Penalty converted by Sandri).

Though they didn't win, it was a good opportunity to learn and improve as a group.

Today they face off Ciliverghe Calcio at the Milanello sports centre , a team from Brescia that will play in the Serie D championship this year. A clear result in favour of the Rossoneri, who won 6-0 .
