Well Pippo injured in this match and I'm sorry for him. At home, Giuseppe Meazza stadium we will play a mid-table team, Lecce to make sure we are still tough contenders for Italian title. There's no excuse we will have lost the match...and Rino Gattuso... show us once again your Milan's spirit!! :devil:

I wanna see a 3:0 win minimum. Lecce is basically ten levels below Milan in talent and capabilities. IMO anything less than 3 goals is a bad performance.

Well we SHOULD win, BUT Lecce seem like a pretty good team. They have had some good results on paper so i would like to see some regulars. I think CL is later in the week so hopefully Rivaldo can be used here but would he be better in midfield or in attack?
Anyways i think if Nesta and Maldini are in the backline we are fine....if not, i sniff an upset (a non-win)

It will be difficult not having Pippo, but maybe Rivaldo will prove himself.....Hopefully Nesta will be back, we really need his presence.....and I thought Kaladze was recovered and ready to play, is that not true??? :conf:

I think it could be an alternative, without Pippo in!

It is high time to test the likes of borriello, so that they can feel part of the team.

If Milan is winning, Borriello should substitue sheva at halftime.
He is eager to impress and will put all his energy for an amazing performance :eek:

Anyone playing for AC Milan
Any word on Tomasson? Well, this could prove to be a tough match for us, but hopefully now that the trouble has left the team can get on with the winning. My XI:

Dida;
Simic, Nesta, Maldini, Costacurta;
Gattuso, Pirlo;
Kaka, Rui Costa, Seedorf;
Shevchenko

Tomasson yeah haven't heard much of him lately, so who knows?

Rivaldo won't play, maybe he will since Pippo is gone

and what about Cafu? He ain't suspended or injured right? If he is, Laursen'll replace him.

My prediction of the line-up:
----------------- Dida --------------------------
- Cafu -- Maldini - Nesta -- Costacursta -
------------------ Pirlo -------------------------
--- Gattuso ---- Kaká ---- Rui Costa ------
----- Shevchenko -- Tomasson ------------

But maybe Serginho will play :conf:

I think it'll end: 2-0, but my prediction in the game might be something else (probably will :) )

Well my Milan slapped Lecce 4-0 both home & away in season 03/04 of CM.. and i don't expect anything less from the real Milan

Without Rivaldo, it gives our other attackers (Borriello & Tomasson) a greater chance of getting a run. I think (and hope) Carlo will give Marco a run as a substitute, and perhaps even Tomasson may start

Kaká should also be assured of a starting role. I believe he will tear this Lecce side apart and establish himself as the most exciting foreign talent in Italy and perhaps Europe.

IMO the formation could go two ways;

4-2-3-1

-----------------Dida-------------------
Simic-----Nesta---Maldini-Costacurta
-----Gattuso-------------Pirlo----------
Kaká---------Rui Costa------Serginho
--------------Shevchenko--------------

or..

4-3-1-2

-----------------Dida--------------------
Cafu------Nesta---Maldini-Costacurta
----Gattuso----Pirlo----Seedorf-------
---------Rui Costa/Kaká---------------
----Shevchenko----Tomasson--------

I think Carlo will go into this match with an attacking frame of mind, but meanwhile not taking Lecce lightly, and implementing his strongest 4 man backline and always keeping defensive midfielders (Gattuso/Ambrosini) in his lineup

Prediction: Milan 5-1 Lecce (Shevchenko 10', 40', 90', Serginho 22', <Lecce goal 67'>, Tomasson 88')

Too good to see someone optimistic like you , but my prediction is another hard-fight victory :conf: we play at home, so we won't lose or draw , 1_0 , 2-0 is at most

Tomasson is gonna start tommorow up front with Sheva :D

Carlo will keep Inzaghi fit for europe ;)

This is gonna be a good game for Milan in the after math of Rivaldo leaving, no more split in the dressing room.

Expect 3-4 goals !! A couple from Sheva and one from Tomasson!

Forza Milan :devil2:

Don't let us down Tomasson!!

Im not sure if Carlo will start JDT, he may opt for Kaka and Rui behind sheva. I also think Simic may get the nod with a champions league match coming up to rest Cafu.

---------------Dida----------------------
Simic---Nesta----Maldini--Costacurta
---------------Pirlo-----------------------
-----Gattuso--------------Serginho----
--------Kaka--------Rui-----------------

I think Carlo should give Redondo a run in the last 20 or 30 minutes to see how we go if we are winning.

Pippo must not play now or against Celta, we need him for the derby. We can beat Celta and Lecce without him.
