Top 4 isn’t a guarantee yet with Pioli in charge.

We are constantly a game away from crisis and free fall with that genius on the bench.
Even I'm not there yet and I'm pretty vocal in my worries and fears.

If we drop out of the top 4 we have a way BIGGER problem than Pioli!!!

Rest 4-5 players in a random match.
Watch the newcomers play like they have barely played any minutes together and concede goals.
Panic subs to rescue the situation.

I see that bioli still hasn't learned from his mistakes from last season...
I do find it hilariously ironic that every time bioli rests his favorite players, he ends up fucking up the moral of the team and also as a result of the panic subs, the guys he wanted to rest have to exert extra energy to try to recover from the bad results.

So, he ends up losing/drawing the game, the rested players are exhausted/more prone to get injured in the coming days, while also fucking up the moral in the team.

Win-Win-Win.

Same story, different season...

I'm so sick and tired of winning with bioli. I can't take any more wins.

Feel bad for Oli and Pulisic. Reijnders is overrated af
Overrated like all the other former Milan midfielders now.doing well.

So obvious that we wouldn't take the chance Juve gave us.

The best part about Pioli is that he never learns from his mistakes.

If he coached Milan for 10 more seasons, he would still be terrible at resting players, rotating players, managing young talent, adapting to the opponents.

This is isma’s chance to actually have a good match. If he can’t be a presence in the midfield against Monza, his regression will be very obvious. I’m not worried about Adli, I know he will shine today.
How did it go boys. Was eating some Punjabi food at Canadian border. I see Milan took mightier shit than me.

Out for a walk.
Just watched the highlights. Has Thiaw completely forgotten how to play football? Jeez. And Colombo scoring at the death.

We apparently can't rest anyone. Starters every game, fitness be damned.

*giroud

we're midtable without his scorers
Giroud was playing during that Dortmund home fixture

If Leao isn't there to drive the attack for 90 minutes the issues this team has are exacerbated

Resting key players is important.

Maintaining key players is also important.

Pioli: "Resting player means not starting them. There is no such thing as momentum in players, they are like robots, I turn them on and they run and do what they are supposed to do."

Inzaghi: "I maintain a stable starting XI, should there be changes I make sure they happen because they are absolutely neeed and will not cause interuption to the first team."

Only two who can hold their heads up after the end of that shambolic performance.

What a strike from pulisic. Work of art that belongs in a museum.
It’s just sad that what they did to stand out today was play hard - and like professional footballers - for the team and its fans when we found ourselves down. I love them for it; but, we should expect everyone to be putting in that sort of shift in such circumstances. While we were down to 10 men, it was like we were playing with just 8 for much of this game.

It wasn’t our most infuriating performance this year, but still hurt to watch

Honest question. Does Pulisic have a better left foot than one footed Chukwueze's left?

We're winning 3:0. Why rotate? Rotate in the Rennes game, and keep them fresh for Atalanta. I don't understand the logic. Looks like Pioli is going all in for the EL.

Which is the right call.

That’s why I’m not too bothered about the defeat today.

Serie A is done and dusted. Would be silly to prioritise it.

7 points above Bologna, we are still good. We can afford todays defeat

EL is all that matters

Milan have now received six red cards in Serie A this season, more than any other team in the league.

Bad take. Rennes tie is all but over even if we rotate normally. We would have our key players to come off the bench if needed, and could rest them yesterday if we had a good lead.

Serie A we still had an outside chance if we won today and then beat Inter.

I get where you’re coming from.

But for me I gave up on Serie A after the game against Atalanta pretty much and the 2-2 against Salertinata dashed the other 5% of my belief.

After that, Serie A was done and dusted and I’ve watched the games in a more relaxed manner.
