when they have bad games they still put out. effort impacts fan perception.I think when Pulisic and Reijnders have bad games we say that they are tired--an excuse not extended to other players--even those who play similar minutes.
No, I'm not fixated on defending them, I think the problems exist outside of them.

Felix likes playing with Pulisic. I kinda want to keep him.

I think fans are selective in who gets credit for effort.when they have bad games they still put out. effort impacts fan perception.
We probably lost 9 points this season against Monza level teams.Only if we play Monza every weekend![]()

9 points would be just enough to finish top 4.

Excuse is valid for Tijjani but not for Pulisic.
Edit: the yellow numbers are total minutes played all season
What freedom? Leao is the one who draws the double and triple teams that Pulisic benefits from--that's his own words by the way.I don't have no stats but I'm pretty sure Reijnders and Pulisic are amongst our top runners. Pulisic especially is asked a lot of sacrifices in both phases compared to Leao while producing the same if not better numbers in G/A iirc, so when you give a player like Leao all that freedom naturally that comes with much higher expectations too.
not all fans. theo had the privilege of lighter criticism but squandered it overtime, but especially this season. gabbia is someone who did the reverse. if pulisic had bad games and his attitude soured then the fans would surely turn against him. same with deers. but right now when they dont play well they still put out and thats the difference.I think fans are selective in who gets credit for effort.
I don't think any free data source has those outside European games. You don't happen to have distance covered per game too?
