I don't have no stats but I'm pretty sure Reijnders and Pulisic are amongst our top runners. Pulisic especially is asked a lot of sacrifices in both phases compared to Leao while producing the same if not better numbers in G/A iirc, so when you give a player like Leao all that freedom naturally that comes with much higher expectations too.

What freedom? Leao is the one who draws the double and triple teams that Pulisic benefits from--that's his own words by the way.

Pulisic being pushed into CAM roles or being forced to run more is not something I want him to do, by the way. That's a product of having shitty coaches and a poorly constructed squad that requires players like Tiji and Pulisic to play in different roles because we want to rehabilitate Chuk or that we haven't bought a CAM or midfielders to complement Tiji.

not all fans. theo had the privilege of lighter criticism but squandered it overtime, but especially this season. gabbia is someone who did the reverse. if pulisic had bad games and his attitude soured then the fans would surely turn against him. same with deers. but right now when they dont play well they still put out and thats the difference.
